I'm afraid jet lag is annoying me. frown
Usually, I don't feel any uncomfortable feeling like this, but I woke up at 4:30am, and I am not sleepy now.

I never missed my apartment or anything here in Japan, and I feel empty cos now I'm back in Japan.
Actually I missed some of my friends, and I'm looking forward to seeing them tomorrow at the Troop Cafe in Kobe, and they are also looking to coming to my apt and having some Dutch food! My friends are always expecting me to get them some interesting food which we can't get in Japan. So to go to supermarket and buy some food is my mission.

Tsuyu season started.frown
After the rainy season, the summer with crazy heat, without no wind will be coming.
Bah...... many ppl dies by the hot heat last year while they were sleeping. I hope I won't be the one like them.

Oh, yeah.
I could bring 1kg white asparagus! The customs didn't find them! The guy checked all of my items in my suitescase, but I wrapped white asparagus with Tshirts, jeans, and wet towels, so he thought the package was packed with full of clothes! I boiled them last night ( I don't have the special pan for white asparagus, and i don't think I can get it here in Japan), and I'll keep them and soup in a freezer. But there's no enough room to keep them in my freezer..... There are 2 layers there, but both of them are full with many kinds of chocolates.

That's quite a drawer full of goodies! I recognized in one of your other journals the other day, what looked to be a gigantic pancake with either a lot of butter and whipcream, or cream-cheese. Is the yellow stuff butter? I only ask and am second-guessing 'cause I've never seen that much butter on a pancake ever. And they say we do it big here in Texas...humph! I'm actually on the part in Death Proof where Kurt Russell is hospitalized and the Sheriff suspects murder on his part. Just drink a lot of fluids before bedtime - logical. Anyway, is your apartment very big? I read about apartments being small there (smaller than NYC). Can one procure a steak in Japan with great ease? If not ... that would be one reason Japan is boring, HA-HA
smile

It seems like Japan would be fun to stay in for about a month maximum, but then it'd get boring. Maybe you can still leave in the near future.

I didn't see the pic at full resolution and just glanced it to begin with. Now I see it does look like ice cream. There's a Japanese steakhouse called 'Tokyo Steakhouse' here that's fuckin' awesome (even though I always get the same order, haha!). I went to an O'hana Steakhouse to compare and got my ass gypped - the chef didn't put any butter or soy sauce on the rice ... .There were barely any peas or carrotts to speak of, and the vegetables weren't on the hibachi very long at all. I left wishing I'd gone to the Tokyo Steakhouse. It's better than the TX Land and Cattle Co by a longshot. Even though at both places sometimes the chefs give the impression of, "Why the fuck do I have to do this! Kill me now!" On occasion they are jovial - guess it's just because when I've been there I go late in the evening.

Death Proof was alright. I was sorta let-down by the 2nd half even though the whole thing just kinda made me think "ah... whatever... ." I haven't watched Planet Terror yet. Nice collection.

I really don't know much about NWOBHM. I love Steve Clark and Pete Willis and I think On Through the Night is one of the best albums ever recorded. But ... I like a lot of stuff. I listen to old Def Leppard more than anything else. It'd be fun to go on an Iraqi excursion don't you think?! Joking ...
