Had a low-key Halloween for the first time ever, which was disquieting (I just wanted to use that word becaused I never have before). Last year I was a skeleton in The Castro... This year I was recovering from The Fest V here and covered my tired eyes with mascara & a feathered masquerade mask, wore some gaudy jewelry and was not recognized by many friends. That made me happy, as I often miss the anonimity I had when living in NYC or SF. If only I weren't so damned famous . . .
