I haven't made a new post in a while but I'm still around.

I've totally been neglecting this site lately. Man a whole new layout. Wow. This will take some getting used to. Anyway I've spent the past 2 weeks working on the new Famke Jannsen flick. On Friday I might get to meet the girl who played the bus driver's daughter on Veronica Mars. I'm kinda oddly psyched about that cause I'm a VM freak.

Only 3 more days till Vulgarthon. I'm a little worried about the trip there and back. It looks like an hour on NJ transit but I've never taken NJ transit being a NYer. The thing I'm really worried about is coming home. Its supposed to end at 10:30pm but I've heard it usually goes wildly off schedule and the last train home is at 12:45am so I'm concerned about missing that cause if I do I'll be standing in a train station in Red Bank, NJ till 4:30am.

Any friends on here from NJ or familiar with NJ transit have any tips? Even the ticketing is confusing me. "I'm used to get on the (insert letter here) and take it to _____" and a flat $2 each way on my trusty metrocard. Also anyone know if the stations are well marked? Do they make announcements? I don't want to miss the Red Bank stop.

So I don't think I ever updated since my GNR ticket announcement. Anyway I went on the 12th to see their grand re-unveiling and it was awesome. Such a great show and I was like 2 feet from Axl. I was totally in awe. On the 17th Izzy played with them. I would have passed out. Like you see those old film strips of screaming girls at Beatles concerts. Then on the 19th they did an all acoustic set for Rosario Dawson's b-day at an even smaller club (this was private though) and did the Lies version of "You're Crazy" and "Used To Love Her". And Axl beat the shit out of Tommy Hilfiger which is just so awesome.

Anyway the show I went to was crazy good. The new songs are just awesome.

Other than that I have some pretty cool concerts coming up. I'm supposed to go to the Team Dresch reunion on May 30th but I'm going to Vulgarthon the next day and have to be up early and that show is going to go late so I'm probably going to skip it. Then June 3rd I'm seeing Pearl Jam and on the 5th Joan Jett. In July I'm seeing Fiona Apple and in August Sleater-Kinney.

Janet Weiss (from Sleater Kinney) is totally awesome. That is all.

The Gossip show was awesome. A great set. JD from Le Tigre was there too dancing right next to me which was pretty awesome.
