So one of the really nice things about having a Mac, is you can call, or go in to the store and get help when you need it - Yesterday I called and got all my questions answered right over the phone! Unfortunately, today - I don't remember what it is they told me to do......... Guess that's what happens when you get old...........Jeez!

I gotta' learn new things.......

Well I think I'm settling into my fall routine.........As the weather turns colder, I feel like cooking more - ( !!!?? )
Last week , I made a delicious ratatouille. First time I have cooked with eggplant ( or aubergine, as they say across the big pond ). Today, I am starting a mexican stew. I like hearty soups and stews in the fall, as the air gets colder.
I love my job at the corset shop ( even though I don't get paid ). Whe you work for free, you can set your own hours. Well - that's one perk. I like sewing a whole lot more when it's not in my own house - not sure why that is?
I need to spend more time with Xena, though. What I really need/want now is a riding buddy. My only girlfriend who rides is going thru a divorce, and doesn't have much riding time right now - Plus she lives an hour away from me - The divorce will ultimately turn out to be a good thing and we willl be able to ride together more often - just not this autumn. I do have a teenage girl who rides Xena for me, and does very well with her. She even showed her this past summer, and won a bunch of ribbons!
I started up with my personal trainer this week. I seem to be too lazy to work with weights unless there is someone forcing me to do it. Oh well.......
I have only one child living at home now - and it is HEAVEN!! I am so much more relaxed! I actually enjoy seeing the kids when they come over for dinner, or to leave their laundry now. Wow!

I'm back from my weekend - and with a cold! But it is getting better - I just don't know if I"m coming or going - and my head feels like it's stuck inside a cloud..........
I feel rejected - someone I was supposed to meet up with , blew me off! !!!!! ( And in a a rather not so nice way..... )
On the bright side - We did manage to hook up with ex SG'ers Louie_the_Zebra and Anika. Had a really great Thai food dinner in Hollywood. What a nice guy he is! And she is too! Did any of you ever know them ? Too busy in the RW for SG, I guess............

I went boogie-boarding in the waves at the ocean at Manhatten Beach - WATCH ME:

What a great time! We strolled the boardwalk at Venice Beach, and took in some live entertainment . Enjoyed the company of my sister and her son, at the Border Grill in Santa Monica. Saw Ripley's Believe it or Not museum in Hollywood, and took a nice scenic drive through Griffith Park. What gorgeous views!
All in alll, a very relaxing time..............

Off to California tomorrow!

Things are getting organized here -
I'm back to work at the corset shop. One child is already in school. The other 2 are off to college very soon. I"m off to the Renaissance Faire this weekend, and going to California for the Labor Day long weekend!!
And -
I am loving the weather!
