Ran into the ex and his gf at the Dirty Show last night. He tried to pretend he didn't see me frown . I DID notice that his girlfriend is almost a whole head taller than he is - that was a small consolation............
I'm just at a really low point in my life. I can't seem to get my ass moved out of the house I've been living in for 25 years. I'm overwhelmed and paralyzed - I could really use some help frownblackeyed

I know almost nothing about the details of what you're going through. However, Im sorry you are going through it. And I know about being overwhelmed and paralyzed. I've been there on more than one occasion. I'm actually dealing with a small bout of inertia this week....And what I have found works is anything. Do something. Pay a bill you've been meaning to pay, put away something thats just laying on a kitchen counter. I heard someone say "If you feel like an ant, do ant things". And just plug along.

MAybe you need to find a therapist to help you move some of your internal "stuff" out of the way. That has worked for me also.

I hope this didn't sound like a lecture. I'm tired, and typing it has helped me. I'm cleaning my apartment, and finding homes for items my father left me, after dying from Cancer in November. I received a bunch of things yesterday, and its just emotionally and physically overwhelming, after moving my mom into an apartment since she has moved back to Maine from CA.

So I know about feeling overwhelmed. So I grab one thing, and move it. Take a sip of coffee, and repeat.

Be well.

You've got bigger and better things to kick ass, Rhana. You are stronger than you give yourself credit for!

I'm sure it's got to be tough,
but maybe try to look at this as an opportunity,
to find something new, to embrace a more minimalist approach . . .

I know I wouldn't turn my nose up at that . . .

That's a drag that after your history together he didn't even give you a wave.
Start decorating the condo the way you like and make it completely your own. It will take time.

It's all still pretty new and difficult to take in. Give yourself more time to adjust or maybe consider counseling or some self-help books. There is plenty of wisdom and support out there.

Still, one is all I could possibly handle.
