Slip out the back, Jack.
Make a new plan, Stan.
Don't need to be coy, Roy, just get yourself free.
Hop off the bus Gus.
Don't need to discuss much.
Just drop off the key Lee.
and get yourself FREE!
Yay!

Last night I finally watched that Chinese movie The Eye. It was cool. It was like The Ring but more coherent.

Well today was pretty cool. My dad's birthday is Tues.
so we kind of did a mini-celebration with just me and him. First we went to Old Fort Jackson (built in 1808) because we are both old history buffs. We hung around there for about and hour and a half. About 30 min. after we got there,I looked through one of the "windows" of the fort to see a whole busload of senior citizens heading our way. "Man the guns!" I yelled "The enemy approaches!" No one laughed. Not even my dad who usually would but I think he was embarrassed that I yelled it out loud.
After that we went to the Super Buffet across from the Ogelthorpe Mall. I saw a big advertisement that promised Snow Crab Legs served daily! but it was an untruth as they had no crab legs. They did however, have crawdads so I ate a bunch of those. I've tried sushi with wusabi but never actually "had" it so I ate different kinds of sushi. To my suprise my dad got a couple of pieces of also, so I asked him if he wanted any of my wusabi (am I spelling that right?) because I knew I had gotten way too much.
"Do you want some of this?"I asked.
"Sure", he replied and then right when I was about to ask if he'd ever had wusabi before, he took a huge glob and instead of putting it on his plate or food, he proceeded to put the whole lot in his mouth.
My eyes drew big. "W-wait", I stammered. Then his eyes grew large because mine did, then they resembled the color of ripe apples. A small tear fell into his fried rice. This is a guy who has IBS.
Then we came home. Now I am at my house typing this and am in the chat room but it doesn't look like anyone is talking. Sg boards here I come!

Man I racked up at work the other day. My boss went to New Orleans for some kind of meeting and she brought back a shitload of promotional goodies. I got a much needed duffel bad (now I have something to carry all of my books around in-I'm an intellectual ya see). I also got 28 Days Later (saved me $20), a supoosedly creepy Chinese horror film called the Eye which I have yet to watch, an "experimental" Japanese film called Visitor Q, and classics such as Cheerleader Ninjas and Malibooty (an African American Independent feature), a couple of kung-fu movies, and an X-Men 2 hat which I gave to my dad.. Oh and a Dino Crisis3 T-shirt which I can wear around the house while I walk around deciding if I should clean up then go play my PS2. Yay! oink

I added a new pic for the SG journal thingie. It's not a particulary flattering picture but it does crack me up. No I wasn't constipated and the label on my head says Chicken Wing Charlie kicks ass.

God I am not looking forward to going to impending drama awaiting me at work. Apparently some shit (not money) came up missing. The day it went missing I wasn't even working that night BUT i was in the store for about 15 minutes so I am not ruled out. God I hate the fact that I have to work for a living. I wish I could win then lottery. Then I could live the rest of my days traveling and have a spring home in Madrid( and take a couple of SGs with me of course). biggrin

Wow what a boring and restless day. I woke up around my usual time of 1 pm with a sour stomach. I loafed around and watched a baseball game, updated my LJ, then played Kingdom Hearts for a while, then capped the whole evening off with a homemade BLT. And now I am writing this. Such is my life. Very interesting eh?
Now it's around 11:20 pm and I have to go back to work becuase I forgot to sign something. Give me a break.
P.S. I apologize for the eye-straining pixilation of my pic. I hardly have any pictures of myself and I have not quite gotten the photoshop thing down (or even the basics for that matter).Hope to hear from you (someone, ANYONE) soon.

I know there's nothing more boring than talking about the weather but fucking-a it feels good today.Georgia has the unique ability of being rainy and still hot as hell. Today though was the first break we've had in the heat and humidity. The changing of the seasons always puts me in a good mood. That and the start of baseball season.
