In class today, two girls show up late... an hour late easily. Then one starts asking stupid questions on material that was already covered in the first half of lecture. She saw me laughing at her idiot questions and was deeply offended. She actually said to me "How Dare You!". Apparently she thought I was laughing at her accent or something. And her friend was also pissy because she though the reason the question was stupid was because of her poor grasp of English. None of that was funny, I was laughing at the nerve of someone to show up THAT late to class and cost others time in the lecture by asking the Professor to repeat the first half of the lecture.
Anyway, my group member [who also laughed and was given shit] went over to try and smooth shit out with her for his own agenda, come to find out she and her friend were also drunk. WTF?!
People irritate me.

Got the job. And my negotiation for higher wage worked out. We met in the middle, which considering I was figuring they were going to just toss me minimum wage for being a part time employee and student. Feeling good.
So I start working again... first time in like three years... next week.

Yesterday my news continued. I got into SJSU, the college I was hoping for, then later on I got an email from the job I interviewed twice for saying they wanted me to join the team! These people have been very cool about the whole "Schools coming first" thing. They offered me a fair wage that was more than I had originally thought they would but less than I was making before I moved. During my second interview the owners wife, I think, offered to match my old wage. So after a little bit of ho humming I decided to inform the one offering me the job this part of the conversation and try to get a little more cash. She was very understanding and informed me they will talk it over and come back to me with a response by Friday.

Also had more thoughts about a project I am interested in doing, more cosplay than anything else.
Aunt goes in for surgery tomorrow. My Uncle, her brother, is riding up today so he can be here for support tomorrow. Four day weekend starts tonight! This week. Life is good.

Got accepted to SJSU. . . come fall I will officially be a SPARTAN!

Had a strange series of Job interviews for a small local, family owned market. I should soon be part time employed again as well. Hopefully shit continues to look up.

So I am sitting in Japanese class today this girl that sits next to me starts going on about Breaking Bad and then Community. When on Community she starts going on about Donald Glover. The makes this statement "Donald Glover is almost 30! Can you believe that! He is so old!"... She seemed not to understand that I am beyond that number. . . I'm happy I'm still not obviously 33... but it kinda sucks that once I do announce it, I know that is how they feel. Just fucking weird man!
Holy Crap on a Cracker! I have been in this area for the last three years, lets say, and this whole time I have been trying to find a group of gamers to possibly join up with. This quarter in an English class I find a fucking gaggle of gamers! Then they point me out to a shop nearby they game at. This place was fantastic! It's in one of those malls, the ones that are half dead, so apparently the real estate was cheap enough for them to open THREE shops in the mall. I walk into the first... a shitty board game store thinking "Why would they want to meet here. There's just like a couple of packs of card games?". Out of the corner of my eye one my way out I spot what appears to be one of those anime and comic shops most malls have. I stroll in, its their comic branch! But again, no RPG's. So I talk to the cashier, a cute little girl with a batman shirt and utility belt to match. She is bubbly and friendly and points me to the store across the way. And there is a badass RPG branch of the series of shops! I have never been in an RPG shop complete with gaming tables and rooms as well as a community fridge with an honor bar system for candy and drinks! That just blew me away! So neat! All the smiles are mine right now!
