Fucking. People. Give someone MONTHS of notice that you need ONE thing done. ONE THING. And they will disappoint you. Every. Time.
Brother. Just asked him to wash my Mom's house before I drive 5 hours south JUST to paint it. Just gave me a laundry list of excuses why he can't do what I asked him to do MONTHS ago. He lives within 7 miles of my Mom's house. I live 5 hours away. He can't take a DAY to pressure wash the house BEFORE I go down there to paint it in two weeks. Now he's telling me how her room is caving in.
AND THEN! The excuses for what else is wrong with this and that about how painting isn't much help with all the OTHER issues with the house. Even though last time I was there the paint on the walls was SO WORE AWAY that I saw bare wood and the nerve that "well if you would just buy a $36 box of shingles".
Mother has known about the roof for years apparently, even had an estimate done. $600-800 about three years ago. In that time she couldn't put away that money to get this shit done. *sign*

Received another Scholarship before I graduate! $1000. Funnier bit? I received the same scholarship last year. I suppose I made an impression. 
Got my DNA mapped a few months ago. They couldn't get results from the first sample and now they finished my second sample.

First dream. I was somehow in the world of Harry Potter. I came across Umbridge and beat the fucking TAR out of her.
Second dream. I went to a friends house, which was a large apartment, inside I find her Mom and four dudes that remind me of the Foosball Germans from Community. I leave and find her out front. She has a big red truck, which normally she has a large blue one.
Suddenly we are driving around, her baby in the backseat, aimlessly. I see a yard sale with huge high shelves and I notice some Star Wars figures on the top. I pull the truck up close to just grab them and some old man comes out, looking like Casey Sander and he questions me on the figures. I end up buying a collection of Stormtroopers, assorted speeder and the like for $3. Then I see another collection of figures and pull out some choice figures there. He then wants $1,500 each for those figures. I put them back and take off.
Suddenly I am in a comicbook shop and she tells me we really need to leave because she needs to get medicine for her baby. I throw down the stuff I was browsing and tear out the doors. . .

As some may know I went off to get my DNA mapped. Got a result in my email today.

Been feeling terrible last couple days. Slept wrong and my gods damn neck hurts! Work... I do enjoy fucking with people. One of my big bosses showed up yesterday was talking to me while I was ringing her up. She looked over to another of the employees and said Hi and asked her how she was doing. I told her. "Oh don't talk to her. You'll spoil her heir of brooding." I was given the look that I might have crossed a line.
I am a Finalist in two grant scholarships. If I get even one I get a grand, if I get both two. Feeling hopeful. Been cutting my meat consumption down. Figured might help the weight loss as I don't seem to be able to stick to the whole... working out thing. Substituting grapes for late night snacks, actually tired tofu. Made a tofu onion and cheese burrito today. Not bad. '
Taking some test to enter SJSU tomorrow at 2. Fun stuff.
Saw Evil Dead the other night. Not bad at all. I enjoyed it. Not as funny as the original, wasn't even trying to be. But loved the new stuff added and the bits they chose to leave in.
