Well its tuesday and lately time has just been flying by. I childhood friend and I are in the process of opening a bar in the Ballard area so ive been crunching numbers, trying to discourage from buying equipment off craig s list and other quirks of opening up a business.
But I wanted to add to the previous blog about dreaming. Specifically the aspect of sleep paralysis, which over the years seems to mostly involve "demons" encounters. Later on the mythos has evolved into alien abductions and such. So what's with the consistent pattern of being in the golden zone between being asleep and awake that makes the mind think terrible demonic entities are holding them down, choking them or poking and prodding them?
I guess that like many other aspects of the mind at night is still very much a mystery.

I think everyone should try lucid dreaming. Wake induced lucid dreaming however, is a whole different trip.

Had another dream about sitting in a snowy field just watching and listening to the borealis. My dreams always intrigue me. Why such a simple and tranquil dream.

I wish this video didn't have a soundtrack because part of the glory that is the Borealis is the sound. Even though it IS a Blade Runner song.

So I have been fascinated with the scientific aspects of dreaming as well as the stuff that science cant explain on the subject. For instance did you know that cats dream more than humans...anyways, if you could have a video playback of your dreams would you watch? And if you did watch, how do you think that would effect your dreams?

I love stuff like this.
