Leukemia and Lymphoma Fundraising
I am $275 away from my initial fundraising goal of $1700. Every dollar counts and even $5 would be amazing. I am posting everywhere I can to see if I can get this goal met by this weekend.
I have been training to run a full marathon as a secondary goal for the fundraising for the LLS. Today would have been my friend's 36th birthday. He passed away a few years ago after a fight with cancer. I believe in this cause and I am not usually one to get up and get involved so just know this is incredibly close to my heart. Also, if it got me off my ass and into running shoes it is a big deal so please help. Even if I don't know you, I would be thankful from the bottom of my heart if you helped me in this cause

I turn 30 in less than 2.5 weeks. It is exciting and scary. I started training to run a marathon in June. 26.2 is a number that will be haunting my every waking moment until I complete it. I am running it to raise money for Leukemia and Lymphoma research. If anyone here can donate even a couple dollars that would be amazing. 2011 made me a stronger woman. It wasn't easy and there are parts I wished I didn't have to go through but I am standing here looking back at who I was. Hopefully 2012 will make me an even better woman

If you had told me four years ago I would be where I am in life I would not have believed you. Hopefully, years from now I can say the same thing and be proud of where I have gotten in life and what I have achieved. The groundwork is being set down. Now it is time to let it unfold
