So...had a crazy but good weekend. Lots of wine drinking which I have not done in a long while. Got waaaaaayy trashed on Friday with a good friend. Recovered Saturday and got together with a group to see my good friends Doug and Telisha Williams play their first solo gig at Ashland Coffee and Tea which is a great venue for them. There was a nice article in the Richmond Times Dispatch and there was a great turnout and everyone seemed to really enjoy the show. Hopefully they can be up here regularly!!

Sunday I spent the afternoon at the Virginia Wine Expo tasting and tasting Virginia wines. We didn't even make it half way through the 42 wineries!! It was fun thought tasted and bought some great stuff.

Today is the last silly government holiday I get for awhile so instead of going into work anyway and doing some catchup my good friend Rick convinced me to go out and enjoy the gorgeous day which we did. Sushi lunch at the new Moshi Moshi in Carytown and wanderings thereabouts. Then a nice trip to Belle Isle and some classic rock jumping on the far side. This turned out to be a great day and I am now relaxing and trying to stay de-stressed before the coming week.
