summer 2011. it's been intense -a whirlwind like no other. like everything in my life, polar extremes of the highest highs (witchy, domestic bliss in New Mexico & grand travels) and lowest lows (the death of my little brother and so many other dear ones that it would take two hands to count). regardless, at present i sit content in my albuquerque home after a dreamy mini-roadtrip home from santa fe this morning on the turquoise trail, through the sleepy, gypsy hamlets of Cerrillos and Madrid.

and now for my brother. it's still hard to comprehend that he's gone but i can honestly say i've spent more time with Him since he passed, than in the last six years since i left Austin. he had a difficult go of it in this life. it is no easy thing to be a poor young man in America. he's liberated now and some day i'm gonna write down every word of his story. mark them words. <3

hvsband is in Seattle and my ass has been deprived of his hands for just about 36 hours now. however, it is nice to have the house to myself & i think this might be one of my favorite song to take drugs to:

i took so much time with this post because it's most likely my last as my subscription runs up this month, and there ain't much here i can relate to anymore, much less anything remotely interesting or subversive. 7 years as a member of this community and it has given me so many amazing friends, adventures, and memories. truly something. most of you who are real life friends, i've already...
