It's the end of an era.

Maybe. Kinda sorta.
A week from now my account will expire and I've no plans to return. Three years and some change feels like enough time at this place. I honestly don't know how the Old Schoolers can cope; I feel like I've been here a decade myself. I can't claim that SG didn't have an influence in my daily goings-on for that span, for better and worse. Ya take the good with the bad... dem's the facts of life, folks.
Overall it's been an interesting and surprisingly soul-strengthening experience. No no, not due to the whole individuals-discovering-brotherhood-through-their-uniqueness gobbledygook that's been espoused on this site since its inception. More like the tenet that is keep-your-shit-to-yourself-because-you-can't-truly-trust-anyone-this-is-the-internet-after-all. I obviously learned that very early on.
I'm unsure if having a callous heart and cautious mind are assets or not, but I thank you, SG. It's definitely made me more mindful and weary of others, online and IRL.
On the flipside, SG did help me out in my confidence some, if you can believe that. Not to claim that whenever I catch my reflection I see a winner that could bed any skirt that I make eye contact with, yet I now think I'm an all right looking schmoe.
What else... It's helped me with my photography as well. More in regards on how NOT to shoot a naked human being... also, less Photoshop is more. I've a tad of regret about not photographing anyone here, but it's not like I can't do things outside the site! 
Plus, there are the bona fide friendships that began thanks to this place. That I'm thankful for most of all. If it wasn't for two people - TigerAngel for harassing me for TWO YEARS to join, and Jaylin inviting me to Prom in '08 (only a month after I registered here) and introducing me to folks, I never would have met burntsolace, Maribell, SpidersAndArrows, mugglefucker, etc... Establishing early bonds like that gave me the drive to give others a chance. Now I can't get rid of some of you suckahs if I tried. (those suckahs being Leib_, SillyK, Coollkefonzie, Luella_DeVille, Bellica, Leandra and Xtine).
I wish I could give each of the 91 people in my friends list a personal thanks ...but I'm LAZY.
Believe me when you read that I'm grateful to have such supportive and inspiring people in my life.
We had some memories.
One thing's for certain... if this truly is the end, I'm gonna miss all the ass. Sooo much ass. 
Speaking of, if some of you bubblebutt hussies want to exchange numbers and stuff. ...y'know, to drop a line occasionally.
