You can thank Milloux for exposing me to this madness, which I now share with ye:

Who needs acid, right? surreal

Not much going on at the moment. Work, rain, dog run, rain, work, work, flirt, work. April is when everything really kicks off. Nooo, I won't be revealing anything about it seeing as I don't want to jinx it. I swear, anytime I admit anything on this site, between 10 seconds and two weeks later it turns to shit. No mas.

DO YOU LIKE SCARY MOVIES?
During the weekend, I was asked by an annoying foreign chick (her name rhymes with Leandra) what the title of some scary movie was and naturally, I knew it. Since I'm always WINNING! at watching hundreds of new films each year. Anyways, I figure I'd post the same suggestions for can't-miss horror/thriller/dark dramas I gave her in this stupid blog.

SPOILERS! (Click to view)
Eden Lake (2008... Lea's suggestion): Chavs and their families being nasty, creepy cunts. At least that's how she says it goes.
Harry Brown (2009): Michael Caine doing his best Eastwood in Gran Torino impersonation, yet actually taking the worst people out. Again, this includes chavs.
Das Experiment (2001): German film loosely based on the Zimbardo Stanford prison experiment. You'll definitely be creeped out how "normal", rational humans turn into complete monsters in little time.
Audition (1999): Two words... TAKASHI MIIKE. Whenever he directs anything, it'll be freaky. Many of you have likely seen this and can attest to it. Essentially, a widowed middle-aged man conducts fake "auditions" to find a mate and believe he's found love. Oh no, buddy. You found something else.
Sin Nombre (2009): A really well-crafted tale about a girl wanting to illegally immigrate into the US. Meanwhile she reunites with her father and has to fend off a pretty violent gang.
City of God (2002): More gangs, but cooler ones (i.e. Brazilians). Takes place in Rio and follows the lives of two childhood friends who take different paths. Pretty intense.
I Saw the Devil (2010): KOREAN REVENGE FILM. That's all you need to know. It must be seen to be believed. It's going to be released in the States soon but uhhh, why wait? Torrent that bitch.

THIS is happening soon. If you're a local or simply a nerdy-ass Californian, you should be there. Dressed as scantily clad as possible (if you're a girl). tongue ooo aaa And I promise... I won't touch you. Turns out Serial and I were part of Tron: Legacy's special features at an event last year and WE DIDN'T EVEN GET PAID. Oh sure, we saw Bruce Boxleitner and shit... but no free t-shirts. No posters. In the rain. Lamesauce.

At least the furries were out in force.

Speaking of uncommon yet generally tolerable lifestyles, POLYAMORY. Thoughts? Do you believe a person can love multiple persons equally yet uniquely? I believe it's a path I could honestly live by... in a polyfidelitous fashion. Of course, it seems swell on paper. hmm. HMM.

ARRR!!! Until next time.
