Well, the party on Saturday was pretty awesome. It was great to see so many people (quite a number of whom I don't get to see very often). I am already looking forward to the next party, whenever that may be.

It's official now. Not only am I doing the fashion show with Angeldustrial, but I am also going to be a transvestite zombie in Blood Feast in a few weeks.. (a long story short, I am stepping in to cover for someone that just found out that she has to go to China for a month. What with her being a her and all, I am stuck being a transvestite...*shakes head and sighs*)

Well work today sucked...sort of. It was slow, and boring, which I'll take over manic and understaffed, but that wasn't the frustrating thing. One of my coworkers showed up half an hour late, and was apparently joking about the fact that she was quitting. Given the fact that she calls in late and/or calls of with more frequency than should be allowed, this was taken seriously by myself and the other manager-type on. If she did, I would have had to work many extra hours in the next few days in order to cover her shifts, etc. The thing is, that she's been doing shit like this for months (though not as fequently as the last few weeks). We don't have enough staff.
If someone is late, or calls off, we are invariably screwed. Oh, and every time something like that has happened recently I've been one of the people on and had to deal with it. It blows. The store manager needs to hire more staff, such as an assistant manager and at least one more 15-20 hour part timer. I strongly doubt that this will happen any time soon. *sigh*

In other news, party tomorrow. Yay fun and stuff. Please see the appropriate thread in SGBoston. Then I'll see you tomorrow.

I am sore. Somewhat tired as well... Rehearsal for the fashion show (Friday, November 12th, "Fashion Victims" @ Manray, 19+, some admission price) went very well last night. We've got about 90% of the choreography finished, and it looks damn good already (if I do say so myself). And my outfit was also finished, which kicks ass, and I love the corset. I also got a brief wash of warm fuzzies when Jen, who does almost all of the choreography for AngelDustrial asked me to help her with ideas for a spot.

I ran errands all morning, which added to a bit of muscle fatigue from carrying around my dance partner last night...so I'm a bit tired now.

Ugh.

I do not like working until 10:20 on a Friday night... We were shortstaffed all day, and I have no idea why my manager didn't schedule more people. Long story short, there was a metric fuckton of work to do after the store closed (consider my fist thoroughly shaken at the half a dozen people who decided it would be cool to hang out in our store 15 minutes after it closed), so Ish and I were stuck there forever.

Trinity should be up to celebrate her 21st with us this Sunday, which I'm looking forward to.

I'm trying to organize things on my end to get out to Hel-O-Ween on the 23rd. Now I just need to figure out what costume I can wear to beat my outfit from last year... Any suggestions anyone?

Well fuck. Stupid late night with the changing of signage and displays and tables and suchlike...

So, instead of getting out at 9:30 tonight and being at the club by 10:30, I got out after 10 and got home at 10:45 and my ride wasn't available, and I wasn't going to get to the club and pay to be there for less than an hour...so, long story short, I didn't go, and that's sad.

Anyway, on Monday (since I didn't have a chance to really update), myself and the rest of the Angeldustrial crew were working like mad on the coreogaphy for the Fashion Victims show (Nov. 12, at Manray). Eartha and I worked out our entire section of the performance, and it kicks ass. I'm uber-excited about the show, I know we're all going to look so wonderful because of Ashley's designs and the fact that we're working our asses off on the dances. Eartha is a great partner to work with, and our dance styles are similar enough to be very complementary, while still being different enough to be distinct. The fact that she's hot doesn't hurt things either. And my outfit is awesome.

I'm excited.

Well, sale starts up at work today *groan* Oh joy. At least I was able to switch off tomorrow, so now I can go out to Manray tonight and sleep in afterwards.

Sarah is interviewing with Express right now to get an assistant manager position, which I expect she'll get. I'm really happy that she was able to find a job opportunity for a decent position.

Stuff and thingage. I'll see some of you tonight, I'm sure.

So approximately 9 million SGs are coming over to my apartment today so they can hang out, goof around, and film things. A trip to the Dropkick Murphys show is also a possibility. I, lucky boy that I am, will be working for basically the entire time that they're here filming.

However, I will be back in time for the party and drinking bit.

So, despite the fact that I'm getting over being sick and have to be up for work at 7 tomorrow, I still plan on heading out the the Icon of Coil/Cruxshadows show this evening. Now I just need to figure out what to wear...

The party last night was awesome. I had a fantastic time, got to chill with awesome people, and nary a peep of protest from any neighbors. I do believe that my house is officially warmed.
