I came home today. The surgery worked, and I now have options again. The immediate future contains a much lower probability of my death than it did 4 days ago. I'm still pretty out of it, but I wanted to let those of you who were concerned that I'm alive. Thank you for your thoughts and support,

Welcome home. I've been shit at reading journals as of late.

Dexter fans are rabid. I'm reading book two and still have yet to see the show (which I feel marginally guilty about, given my job) but everyone I meet l-o-v-e-s that show.

I actually like Idol, until the last few weeks. Then I always lose interest. SYTYCD never does that to me. I watch from beginning to end, transfixed.
