Howdy all y'all in SG land. In true PunkSkunk style its been a million years or so since I blogged. Scandalous I know, but you cannot force open the petals of a rose.
Anyhow, A momentous occasion has come to pass. One that is blog worthy, and thus begins my blog.
As a poncy iPhone owner a road trip is a perfect excuse to use LemeLeme to make ordinary pictures look like you and artsy mo fo, so that is what this blog shall be.
*side note* Its also an excuse to take pics of your friends looking like dumbasses and say 'trolololol this is going in my blog.'
This weekend myself along with the gifted talamia the immortal Xaosnyte and the insanely beautiful Tarion took a trip to the Drakensburg. Tarions folks live there, and it is an ab fab place to go and get in touch with ones inner hippy.
Here are some pics of the trip down. The SA countryside is exceptionally beautiful, even in winter, and if these pics don't make you go 'ooh aaah' then nothing will.

We drove past some signs, which all looked like they were leaning over because of the wind but it was just Xaosnytes epic driving abilities that made them back off in sheer terror.

Some artsy mountain goodness
And now we enter the part of my blog which I like to call "Leave LemeLeme on random for long enough, and eventually you'll get a bunch of really old looking pics to put in your blog."
Behold fake olds chool goodness.
So we got to our destination and Talamia celebrated with a Mario jump pose in her AWESOME Mario hoodie
This is the closest thing to a photo shoot you'll manage with her.
Never fear, there are more dodgy pics to come. She's not getting off that lightly.
We went to Notingham Road...
Which is home to a place called Rawdons.
They make Beer there. Yes thats Beer with a capital B. It is in fact the most epic Beer in the universe.
They have an epic truck to bring that yeasty goodness to you.
They have 4 flavors. You can buy a taste tester thing of them.

Xaos enjoyed them too.
Mmmmm. nom nom nom. No preservatives (you gotta keep it refrigerated and drunk within 8 weeks of purchase) Needless to say I bought lots. Gotta drink it all soon. Damn.

On the way out we saw an epic car.
He had a poncy number plate though so I took the liberty of making it better using my epic MS paint skills
Anyhow, this blog is becoming exceptionally long, so what I have decided to do is make it a 2 part series and continue this at a later stage.
Before I go though, we watched this wicked '60's series called The Prisoner while we were there. Tarion's dad is great at entertaining with amazing old school goodies. Anyhow its about this Posh english spy who gets kidnapped and put on this island in a lost-esque fashion, and you have no idea what the fuck is going on the whole way through.
Anyhow, he's an angry angry man with angry poses, a deep stern voice and an amazing forehead.
Forehead totally kicks ass right?
So in one bit, this girl (the only pretty girl by '60's standards on the island) gives him an 'electopass' to help him get off the island. This is followed by him asking 'a what?' in the sternest, harshest British accent ever.
'A what?' done in amazing forehead guy's voice became a running joke. It was kinda one of those, you had to be there to understand it kinda jokes, but what evs. I dont really care.
So to finish my blog here is a little 'a what?' tribute.

So seeing as I talk in front of people a whole bunch as part of my job, I got asked by Tarion to MC for her Burlesque troops debut full show.
So Saturday night came and we did the gig, and might I say, we totally rocked it. TOTALLY. Crowd went nuts, Grown me were weeping. The ladies in the audience wanted to be the dancers, guys wanted to be with them. It was just totally mental.
Talamia was there as always taking some happy snaps. They will be posted soon I'm sure, so you will get to see me in a top hat pretty shortly.

Oh and I gave soooo much love to SG. Handed out some SG DVD's mentioned the site about a gazillion times.
Livion also danced, and she was amazing. Did this whole belly dancer thing. Guys were having cardiac arrest.

Anyhow waiting for mu wife to get hair extensions done so I'm trying out my new iPhone. Quite rad I won't lie. It auto corrects things at a whim which I find a little irrit but it is a small price to pay for having plants bs zombies in your pocket.
The auto correct did make me call my boss sloppy instead of skippy the other day so im gonna have to keep an eye on that.
In other news I have been asked to be the MC for tarions burlesque troop. It's a wicked show and if you on the area come check it out. Next weekend the 30th October at CCHQ in Germiston. Will be epic. And I get to wear a top hat. Woots. And watch 5 girls dance in their undies. Tough one

Okie Dokie, so I been a busy bee of late I must say.
What with looming deadlines and the likes.
Anyhow so yeah in between that I got a mail from a mate that I used to jam with for a bit, and he want so to start a new band. Happy happy days. He had a bit of a falling out with his old homie that he used to play with, and basically is looking to make more accessible music. Stuff that you can dance to and have a blast basically but still with some decent roots in it.
He's organised a bassist and drummer and we met tonight to discuss the plan stan.
So we're basically gonna spend the next month jamming every weekend, but working on a few covers during the week, and laying them down over the weekend to feel each other up so to speak. Once we're more comfy with each other we're gonna start seeing what original stuff we can put down.
So we decided on Dashboard by modest mouse, and If you have to ask by the peppers.

So after many many weeks of being told I am a little 'creepy' and 'weird' just because I wear a pink Hard hat I have decided to change my profile pic.
The new one was taken by Cuddlefish on a trip to this groovy little brewery in the Midlands, Natal. Their beer is super bad ass, and I had a wonderful time getting all warm and fuzzy inside thanks to hops, barley and science.
Anyhow, the sunnies I'm wearing in my new profile pic are super reflective 'check me check you backs' and you can even see Xaosnyte and talamia in them. And Cuddlefish's arm holding the camera waaaay out there on the left. Here it is in super duper hi res yo.
Anyhow, they are my fave sunnies of all time cos I got them for my birthday and it was the super sexy Lumo who got em for me. Along with all the afore mentioned Homies...

So I got ragged today by my mate Talamia about not blogging frequently.
Seems that paying my $4.00 a month and spanking off to hot alternative chicks is not enough.
Apparently not blogging makes me look creepy. Oh well, at least I'm true to form.
Hehe just jokes Tal.
Truth is I should blog more. Nothing like pouring your thoughts out to a bunch of randoms to make you feel better. Not that I'm calling any of you guys reading this random... Honset.
I did get myself a new tattoo yesterday.so gives me something rad to blog about.
Heres the pic for all y'all homies to scope out.
I'm an ocean freak, and it goes nicely with my sea horse, shark and wave/star tatt's. Might get around to posting them one day, but can't really be arsed right now.
Anyhow, after they shaved half my calf to do the ink, I felt kinda lob sided. What with half a bald leg and 1 and a half hairy mo fo's. So I spent the evening shaving my other limb and a half. Damn. What a mission. It was kinda like mowing the lawn to be honest. Although, I do now understand why you ladies shave your legs now. Feels pretty groovy if I do say so myself.
So anyways, I've blogged my blog. Hopefully appeasing the internet gods.
I promise to try paying a more frequent homage to the web masters that be.
