Guess Its Update Time, I Can't Believe Its August Already!
So update time! Work has kinda been pissing me off. Don't get me wrong I love my job and the people I work with, and I don't even mind getting up at 5am to be at work by 6am. However, things lately have been really slow. We've gone from working our regular work week which is 4 days (36-40 hours) to only working 3 days (25-30 hours). I didn't even work this past Tuesday and only worked 6 hours on Thursday. I don't want to be at home doing nothing when I should be at work making money. What pisses me off is they still decide to keep 2nd shift open, which I do not understand. So basically nobody is getting their full hours as of late. I am gonna try to stick it out and see what happens. But if things don't get better I may have to either start looking for another job or get a 2nd job. I don't want to do either actually!
This past Monday I saw The Luchagors in Dayton at the Dayton Dirt Collective! For those of you who don't know, their lead singer is Amy Dumas (most know her as LITA as she was a wrestler in the WWE). But her band rocks! I've seen them a couple times and they always put on a really good show. I bought a bunch of Luchagors patches and a bandana!
Lets see...last Saturday I went out to Columbus and hung out with Spacelola. It was fun actually and shes way cute! We went to a yummy Mexican restaurant and then got ice cream and went back to her place and watched Teeth and the remake of Halloween. It was a really nice time and I'm looking forward to hanging out with her again soon!
Yay, Avidity is coming here to Ohio for 6 days Aug. 28th thru Sept. 2nd. She always seems to have a ton of fun when she is out here so I'm really looking forward to it. Its been almost 6 months since I have seen her, but we've kept in touch pretty regularly. But it will be fun to hang out with her and go to Havana, and Kings Island and I think we are gonna have a cookout and who knows what else, plus I think my Ohio friends are looking forward to having her back out here for a visit too!
And YaY for Havana, its gonna be the biggest one yet:

Just booked my Punk Nite Halloween Bash for Oct. 25th in Troy, details are coming!
I just bought tickets for Motorhead + The Misfits on Sept. 14th in Columbus. And I really need to buy tixx soon for Alice Cooper in Columbus on Aug. 24th. Ohhh...and The Dwarves are playing a Halloween show on Oct. 30th in Columbus at the Ravari Room! Some good shows popping up here and there FINALLY!
Don't miss out on the Split Ends marathon on Saturday, I'm gonna try to catch some of it!

Its June Already, WTF?
I joined SG June 4th, 2002 so that makes today my 6 year anniversary! Woah!!! And I'm just a few comments away from 50,000 comments, how crazy is that? Just goes to show how much I love this site, its become quite the addiction! But it rules and all you people on here that I interact with are just awesome! I love this site!!!
So in case you missed it, I got my first EVER tattoo recently and boy do I love it!
Color gets added next Tuesday, I can't wait!!!
Things have been fairly busy as of late, but I like that. Couple weeks back I made the 4 hour drive and went and hung out with Arorablue and I had an amazing time with her! We ate yummy Mexican food and Dairy Queen...mmmm! We cuddled and watched Diary of the Dead, which wasn't good at all! Got up super early and went to breakfast together, then went shopping at Wal-Mart and the Mall. It was just nice getting to spend some quality time with her. In case you can't tell, I kinda have a lil crush on her! But she is just so rad to talk to and hang out with, I don't think I've EVER met such a positive person. I feel like I've known her for years when really its just been like 3 months, but I feel like I can talk to her about anything. She is one of the few people who really have got me to open up, and I love that about her. She is one of my best friends and I love that she is a part of my life, she will be one of my BFF's forever!!! And I'm going to see her Thursday night, yay!

I took _Ireland_ to see GWAR, boy was that a blast! It was a great show except the crowd was pretty fuckin rough. And we should have gone to see them the next night in Toledo, oh well! But here are our before and after pics!
Punk Nite was good, but not great! Still fun though, but I wish the crowd had been better! But the bands were really good! And I'm taking the summer off from doing any Punk Nite shows unless bands specifically ask me to do a show, I haven't had a break in years from doing this so I deserve it!
Prior to going to Hell City, I had invited my friend Carla to come to this Punk Nite with me and just spend some time with me or whatever. But over that time period we hung out a couple times and talked here and there but I was getting the feeling that she just wasn't my type. My friends told me the same thing too! I just felt that it would probably be nothing more than friends with her, but I think she wanted more. After Hell City I didnt talk to her or text her all that much. But being the nice guy that I am I still decided to hang out with her for Punk Nite, bad idea! This ended up being such an awkward and uncomfortable night cause she is just not my type. I pretty much dissed her the whole night and rarely talked or spent any time with her. I guess I should have went with my gut instinct and talked to her about this prior to the show, but I'm horrible about that kinda stuff. She was pretty upset at me about the whole thing, and I guess I do suck for doing what I did to her. Nobody likes being in an unfamiliar place where they dont know anybody! I'll just chalk this one up to a life experience and hope I don't get myself into a situation like that anymore. We're still friends though!
So _Ireland_ goes back home this coming Sunday, its really gonna be sad seeing her leave. Shes been here a month now and just really had a blast with us. And I knew with everything we had going on in May that month was just gonna fly by, and it did! And I really hate saying goodbyes, so thats gonna suck. I am definitely gonna miss her!!!
I haven't had sex in 4 months! This is actually a good thing though! I find myself wanting to really have some sort of connection with anybody that I am interested in being intimate with. Does that make sense? I'm trying to steer clear of the whole meaningless sex, cause I want more than that! I want to be able to have deep and meaningful conversations. I want anybody who I consider being intimate with to 'get me.' I just dont want it to be just sex, I want more! Cause when you have a connection with someone and then are intimate with them it can take things to another level. I like the thought of that. And ya know I didnt think age was a factor when it comes to dating / hanging out with someone. But I've recently found out that it is. I feel like those who are around my age are just a lil bit more mature about things. Until recently I've never really hung out with any girls who have been older than me, and let me tell ya it makes a world of difference. Just their maturity level and viewpoints on certain things and they pretty much know exactly what they want. No beating around the bush and I like that. I'm not saying that I'm not going to date or hang out with girls who are younger than me. I just wish I could meet more single girls who are more around my age. Thats all!
