I am really glad none of you saw my retarded adventures in dog walking today. It was pouring on and off, and when it let up for a bit, I leashed up the mutt for our daily trot. We got about 10 feet into the parking lot and the fucking bottom fell out. The kind of rain that pelts at you sideways, and you are pretty much fucked no matter how badass your umbrella is. My poor dog literally froze with his tail tucked, looking at me with eyes saying "you are a stupid bitch for taking me out in this shit". I eventually got him to go our regular route, but I had to hold the umbrella over HIM, so I was totally soaked by the time we got home. The shit I do for this dog, I tell ya

I had a lovely conversation with a girl I work with the other day. I have never liked her, and could not put my finger on why, but I think I know now. She has been dating this rich guy, and has been talking nonstop about her wonderful membership to some janky tanning salon. She is so orange, it is the gnar for sure. So, the other day, I asked her why she didn't just go float in the pool or go to Barton Springs or something to get some real sun. She looked me dead in the eye and said, "I don't have time to go out in the real sun, and now that I am totally superficial, I get worried if my tan fades". Um, nice

I am going to read more of my new Joy Division book and pass out, hope you are all well
