Saturday night at work, about 7:30, I was balls out busy, just got all of my tables sat, when my manager comes and tells me I have a phone call. Of course I freak out, thinking someone in my family is dead or something for me to get a call at work. So I nervously answer the phone, and a lady asks me if my name is Riley, which is the name everyone calls me at work and is on all of my tickets, and if I remember waiting on table 60 last Wednesday. I told her that table 60 was indeed in my section on Wednesday, but I had many customers sit there. She then asks me if I remember a couple, the man being in his 40's, with a "young kind of trashy version of Fran Drescher", which sparked my memory. She said it would have been the woman's birthday, which it was, the man made a big hoopla over me bringing his date a piece of birthday pie. The guy was a total douchebag, snapped his fingers at me, and treated me like shit, and the chick seemed really uncomfortable. Not to mention he was really short, had lots of shitty gold jewelry on, and his shirt was unbuttoned just a wee bit too far. Ew. So I tell the lady on the phone that I did remember them for sure, and she made me repeat everything I remembered about them. After that, she said "Thank you, you have helped me a lot". Apparently I was instrumental in busting homeboy cheating on his wife. I remember that he took the ticket with him (dumbass), which had my name, the table number, the name of the restaurant, the date, the time, and showed a birthday dessert on it. Mr. Douche also left the table for about 20 minutes, which I am guessing is when he called his wife to tell her he was out with "his buddies" having some beers. I should also add that he tipped me poorly after running my ass off to impress his hoochie.

Morals of the story:

1) If you are the type of asshole to cheat on your wife, don't draw attention to yourself and act like a moron.

2) A lot of waitresses aren't stupid, we remember things about our customers, ESPECIALLY the shitty tippers.

Bet that shithead had a rough night when he got home, and I am glad I was a part of it
