Ok, I'm drunk, so that shoud be enough warning before y0u read this post. I've apparently become a counselor and mentor to several of my friends. I'm helping one of my coworkers, mostly because his real mentor is busy and there is no one else left to help him. Yeah, I'm doing my good deed for the year. It helps offset the fact that I'm an asshole the rest of the time.

I spent last weekend in Indy with some good friends getting drunk and being nerds and getting drunk more. It was alot of fun, even just having discussions with the guys about family, work, and life. The time at the bars talking was probably the best time I've had in quite a while.

I got to babysit for a good friend a while ago. He and his wife (who is also a good friend) were getting ready for a party and I was entertaining their 9 month old. The kid likes to sit in his play ring thing (the kind that keeps them standing up and surrounds them with colorful shit) Well this kid likes to try to tip his play ring, so I did what any adult should; I helped him rock this fuckin ring around like it was an earthquake. He laughted his ass off. Kinda makes me wish I was a father already.

Just dropped my drink. Fucking Scotch. Clean up ensues...

Godamnit already, I hate Karma. I'll be back later. Trust Me...

P.S. thanks to all who responded to my last post (including myself.) I plan on being at the the Sept 15th SG Chicago gathering to watch the Notre Dame game at Mac'sMac's (1801 W. Division Street)
