being home is stranger than strange. i'm not thrilled with the idea of staying here for the entire summer. i've come to a point in my life where i have no real home - and that's how i like it. i do miss my lover, portland....
i applied to a job at a rich kid camp in the mountains. they contacted me less than 24 hours after i applied; i take it as a good sign i've got a ticket out of these hometown-blues. but i've got another month to shove under my belt before i can make (yet another) grand escape.
we've been cranking out beads/jewelry at the studio again. i'm really liking what we're coming up with. a website/online store is soon to come, but here's a little taste of my mother's lampwork expertise and my jewelry making skillz.

i believe that is a bargain price for a lot of them. though i think perhaps at that price i could stretch a bit further and do a few more things, perhaps involving multiple countries... but w/e 
i've only had the pleasure of driving along 90 through western mass and doing the stockbridge rockwell tour. i'd imagine the worst of any mountain camp experience there would still be pretty sweet.
