Emotional Needs.

I've been thinking alot about my emotional needs and I realized that though I use the term "emotional needs" often I have never really been sure what the term means.
And because I hate to use words, phrases, clauses and terms that I am not sure of their definitaions I looked "emotional needs" up.

This is what I found.


In various degrees, each according to his or her own unique nature, we each have a natural emotional need to feel:

accepted
acknowledged
admired
appreciated
approved of
believed in
capable
challenged
clear (not confused)
competent
confident
forgiven
forgiving
free
fulfilled
heard
helped
helpful
important
in control
included
listened to
loved
needed
noticed
private
productive / useful
reassured
recognized
respected
safe / secure
supported
treated fairly
trusted
understanding
understood
valued
worthy

Now I can be sure that my emotional needs are rarely met and if they are it is usually by people on the internet so...thanks for that!
