I had surgery on Friday. I am still in a lot of pain. Being able to cuddle with my new puppy makes it a little better though ;-)

What a day I have had so far. I was in Math class earlier and I started feeling nauseas. I run to the bathroom get sick and threw some sold water on my face. About five minutes later I awoke on the bathroom floor. I went to the adminstration office to ask a lady I know for an ice pack. She took one look at me and made me sit down. She called the cafeteria, got a bag of ice, a sprite, and a cornbread muffin. While I was trying to recover from that incident I met a woman in the Human Resources department. She was asking me if I was okay and if I needed anything else. So, I had to finally break the news that I did not have the flu. That I have cancer and then I start crying. I could not believe it. I hardly ever cry about my illness however something over came me and it all came out. The woman I met was very sweet and we sat and talked for over an hour (until the food my friend in the office gave me was all gone...lol). I have always said everything happens for a reason. You may not like what happens and it may hurt. But it is there for a purpose. I did not like breaking down in front of people. Yet if this did not happen to me today, I may have never gotten the chance to meet this incredible woman!

Today has been a good day. I had a great time at school. My friend and I went out and had smoothies. We walked around town and took in the beauty of the outdoors. Went to my evening class feeling a bit sick. So another one of my friends come back with me after class to make sure I was okay. I got sick and I am still feeling a bit ill but I am not going to let it ruin my day! My doctor finally called me and gave me a date for my surgery. My pre-op is scheduled for the 21st and surgery is the 25th.
Now it is time to relax on the couch and cuddle with my puppy!

It has been awhile since I have posted last. A lot has happened in the past couple of years. I have moved, started back in college, been diagnosed with cancer, and I have become a committee member for the American cancer society. Now I am looking to do another shoot and make pink! So if anyone knows any photographers in the Dallas, tx area let me know!

Well I am almost done with my second semester of summer classes at PJC. I will have a few weeks off then back to school. I have some mixed feelings about the break. I know I do need it because I am mentally exhausted since my recent diagnosis of Sarcoma. But on the other hand I love school and does keep my mind occupied.

Alot has happened in the past few months. I was diagnosed with Sarcoma a form of cancer on June 3, 2010. I started college on June 7, 2010. Had surgery to remove the tumor on June 18, 2010. Made honor roll in college in Summer I. Got elected to be a part of Lamar County Relay for Life. Started a team called Sarcoma Awareness. Now I am in Summer II classes.......
I don't believe anything else could go wrong.....but I know I am a strong person and I will get through whatever is thrown at me



We do need donations and it goes for a great cause please help me in the fight against cancer!

Had a fun day today. Had my friend, her husband, and children over.

I showed her how to cook some Italian food. I am so fat and full right now.

Time to drift off......

I just got back from Lake Providence. I am so drained from all the swimming I did. Time to eat, watch a movie, and go to bed!!!

Well it still hasn't rained I guess the praying did not work....lol
Fuck it I guess a bunch of us are going to go swimming at a friends. That should cool me off for a little bit.

I think I have slept most of the day away today.
It is so hot out it really needs to start raining. I dont think it is going to happen though.
Anywho...I am still looking for a photographer so if anyone knows of some in Louisiana hit me up.
