My energy fades, my talent eroded by my responsibilities. I feel strong for a minute but then it goes away. I am a leech, sucking in other peoples imagination and soul to replenish my depleted reserve.
Lily writes (I inhale) and then I can change and get on the road to Los Angeles, my friend Artthug is moving this weekend and he needs a strong Mexican with a truck. one out of two ain't bad. Friday used to be my glory day, party....two days to recover...now it's Saturday because I need a good night's sleep to recover from my work week before I can party. I even have to pace myself on Saturday..to be recovered by Monday for another week of this...kind...of....work. Cancer patients hurt my sensibilities and give fear to my reality. They give perspective to my slavery...I want to free myself of this kind of living...sometimes. Now, into the truck and drive... picking out some Old 97's CD's..trying not to feel so jagged. There is energy in at least one of these CD's.

Thanking the earth and sky that there are 3 day weekends.

I noticed a charge and remembered again to check in on SG.

Then I simply fell madly in Love with Edea, because I have always loved her...but she played the Star Trek card...and and and...the D&D card.

I have been very glad to see that everything that was nerdy when I was young has now grown roots into OUR culture, and even by some stretch become.....Cool, in its own way.

Just got back from NYC, DC and SF....a month and a half vacation is a luxury that only us hard working nerds can afford.
Saw my first Broadway Play (at my age I feel like I should be embarrassed it took so long to do this). WICKED was super.
Met some super people. Catch a Burlesque show at the Slipper Room off Orchard and Stanton next time you are in NY if you can (it is done very creatively and with a great deal of humor interjected).

The last night I was in NY I did karaoke and was surprised that even though I was in a very cool part of Manhattan, not one person in the place could claim to be from NY (not even upstate)...I mean Ontario Canada was the closest place that anyone hailed from....Manchester England, San Diego (me), LA, Tampa, Berkely, Missouri, Barbados and Japan.

I was fascinated by the Native American Smithsonian in DC, it was nice to hear some of my peoples perspective while visiting the highest seat of power in the world (such a contrast).

Going back a bit to my San Francisco trip, I went to a superb Vegan (I have been doing the Vegetarian thing for about 3 months now...not really the vegan thing yet though) restaurant called the Millenium, I highly recommend it.

Wow...I forgot about this place, been so busy, did an internet search of myself and found me here again....what a strange world.

I am making people healthier...
I am improving my abode...
I am buying a rental house in Vegas...
I am happy and not just because I am getting laid...

I love these girls, and some of my favorite old friends are still here, yay!

Finally Back in California

I am back to work now

I work this weekend, but the good news is I am going to Munich for Ocktoberfest next weekend.

Next trip before the weather gets to cold, is Brussels, Amsterdam, Sweden.

I just got back from Venice, Italy, my 4th time to Italy. BUT it was my first time for Venice.

I am leaving tommorrow night for Spain, for only 6 days, then UK for 2-3 days, then either Amsterdam or Paris, I haven't decided yet.....

I wish Thora was going with me, I know she would help me decide.
