So looks like my town is in the news again.

Mouse in the butt

I was just flipping through the TV looking and I saw the worlds wildest police videos so I stopped. The first one I saw was in the county next to mine. Damn it was weird to see roads and places you know on that show.

I guess it's about time for an update. Not too much going on here. I did finish writing a screenplay. It needs some polish but I'm rather happy with it. Now I need to get off my ass and actually make a movie with it. No idea how exactly to go about doing that but it's going to pray on my mind until I do. I also am almost finished building a six foot pink flamingo out of concrete and golf clubs. It's pretty cool. Okay well that's enough.

I had a great night last night. A couple of friends and I went to see Larry Keel and Natural Bridge at Gottrocks. When we got there they were outside warming up. My friend Josh's parents are good friends with Larry and his wife, so we stood there talking with them for a while. Larry invited Josh to play his harmonica with them for a few songs. Those guys are amazing and just regular people who enjoy playing music. The last time they were there was during an ice storm when the power was out. There were like a dozen people and the staff. The band played by candlelight and played like the place was packed. How many bands would have done that? Anyway hell of a time and a hell of a show.

The latest frontpage story.

A guy heard someone trying to break into his home. He got his shotgun and went to the back door. When he opened it he saw someone standing there. The robber got scared and started to run away but the man shot him. It turns out that the man wasn't using regular shotgun shells, he was using ones that contained rock salt. So the thief got a back and ass full of rock salt. Now that shit hurts.
It was the second time the robber had tried to rob this guy. The list of things he had stolen earlier:
1. A four-wheeler
2. 3 Dale Earnhardt, Sr. pictures
3. A mounted deer head

I guess now since being shot, his ass and back are as red as his neck.

This has been a really shitty weekend. First I slung off an alternater belt off the 240 and spent all day Friday trying to fix it. Today I found out that one of the wheel cylinders on the Rambler is bad. Not only are they hard to find but damn costly when you do find them. Lastly when I got home tonight I realized that some asshead smashed my bedroom window out spreading glass all over my bed. They also ripped the screens off the other windows on the back of the house. I called the cops, real fucking helpful they were. "Looks like some kids being mean. We'll do some patrols." Tomorrow I get to spend the day with my redneck extended family.

So. I at last got my Rambler running and got it to stop pouring oil. A very exciting day indeed. It should be on the road very soon.

I wonder how long you should wait for a regional group owner to let you into the group. I clicked the join this group button and a message came up that I had to wait for the owner to approve you. That was like two months ago.

So I realized today that I spend 99% of my waking hours working. If not at work then working on my house or my car. Damn it, that sucks.
