what a week !! i was in the ER wed from 9 pm-4am because i couldnt stop throwing up and my blood sugars were sky high. i just started the pump and come to figure out, i wasnt getting any insulin because the the little plastic piece that was supossed to be in me..wasnt. i got violently ill and was admitted into another hospital on thursday. i was diagnosed with "DKA" which stands for diabetic ketone acidoses from not enough insulin. they said i was lucky they caught it in time or else i could have been in a coma or worse. it was EXTREMLY scary !! I am home now and starting to feel better. we are still ajusting the pump but i am now getting insulin. i talk to the dr. about 4 x a day . it was awful and im so glad its over !! Chris took really good care of me and now that im home, my kitties are taking care of me too !

i hope everyone is doing okay. im still looking foward to my b-day this thursday even though i wont be doing anything. i'll have to make a wish list *wink*wink*. thank you Acidevangelist for the birthday card with the hummingbird on it ! x0x0

My birthday is almost here!! hehe !!

I adopted one of the kittens i was fostering ! he is adorable ! I will post a picture soon !!

I got to see a monarch butterfly pop out of hid/her chrislyis (sp) the other day..it was amazing !! I'll have to post pictures of me holding it and putting it on the milk weed ! I also got to FINALLY get a picture of a hummingbird ~ i was super excited ! i have never really seen one before. they are fast and so beautiful !

I hope all of you are well. I just got the insulin pump put on again so wish me luck ! It's a lot of work but hopefully I will start to feel better soon.
