Where Is Everybody?

Today my wife is 20 weeks prego today. We found out last week that we are having a BOY! I am supper pumped! The main thing is that everything looks good and the baby is just fine. It was amazing to see it on the sonogram screen.

Hockey season is going well for me. I am the top scorer on my team and I have 12 points! Very nice if I may say so myself.

Not much else to report. Living life having fun. Hope everyone out there is SG land is doing the same!

On Friday my wife will be 17 weeks prego! I am so excited and can't wait to find out what the sex is! 2 weeks seems like a life time away. We had our second check up and the heart beat was 150 BPM down from 155 from that last visit. From what my wife can find on the interweb a higher heart beat means that it is a girl. We will be happy as long as we get a healthy baby. Sara has started to feel the baby move these past few weeks.

Thinking about Cashmir and hoping that all went well and a speedy recovery. I will miss her when she moves away. We will have to get together for game night some time again.

Next week Sara and I are going to Buffalo on an over night trip. We are driving out Friday and stoping in Rochester at my fav store Hockey World for a new stick blade and hopefuly a new sweat shirt! Friday we are going out to dinner some place nice. Saturday after noon I am playing in a pick up hockey game with some friends at HSBC Arena where the Sabres play. Same ice and everything. I am super pumped for it. Walking the same hallowed halls as many of my fav hockey players. Gives me chills just thinking about it. After we play off to dinner again then back to the rink to watch the Sabres play the Av's. Should be a great time I will post pictures when I get back!

Everyone is a fucking critic. You think you can do a better job give it a shot? Ha!

Big week for me I am going to take my wife to see Rob Thomas tomorrow night an then Wednesday night I am going to my first ever NHL game! The first time I had tickets was the year of the lock out. The second time I baught tickets and work would not give me the time off. Now all the tumblers have clicked into place and I get to go to see the Sabres play the Wa Caps! I'm so excited! I will be sure to post some pictures up later in the week. On a side note I thought Cashmir's pictures came out today but I was way off they come out on the 15th so be on the lookout people!

Packing to go play some puck. This is my birthday week so fun,fun,fun all week long. I missed not having a game last night but I had a good time playing Apples to Apples last night with my family. Had to be a pallbearer for my aunt this week. It was raining cats and dogs the whole time. It sucked. I think that more people have passed this year than in my whole life time. This is was not a good year. Thankfuly it is almost over!

I wish I could do something to help out my friend but I feel like she is shutting me out. If it's still all good between us just let me know. If I can help please let me know.

Today was not a good day. I was awoken to a phone call from my crying sister saying that one of our friends and passed away. He had been battling Osteosarcoma. Osteosarcoma is an aggressive bone cancer which afflicts approx. 600-1000 people/year. It is classified as a rare cancer that is mostly common in children, in their growth years. He was diagnosed in Jan of 06 with this crazy cancer. Over the past 3 years I have gotten a chance to know this incredible person. I can say that he was truly an amazing person. Last year one of the things that he and his dad wanted to do was play on a hockey team together. I play on a team in a Saturday night league and they joined our team. He and his father are just great people. The worst things always happen to the best people. Cancer is the worst and if I could give my live to cure the world over cancer and never have any more again I gladly would. I have lost both my grandfathers to cancer and one of my grandmothers in a breast cancer survivor. Cancer is something that has affected my life in a big way. I HATE IT! FUCK CANCER! Last week I took the older of my 2 sister to a funeral for a friend of hers that died in a fire and now I have to take my other sister to a funeral for one of her friends. This sucks!

On Monday my mother in law had brain surgery for the 2nd tumor in her head. She had one 18 years ago and now it came back. The surgery went well and they got more of it out then they thought they could. They said that it was more aggressive then they thought and it had grown back into her brain and forward through her skull. They also had to remove all of her skull above her left eye and rebuild it with mess and other materials. She got discharged yesterday and is going to stay with a friend for a week or so to recover some more. I can’t believe that they let you out just 5 days after brain surgery. It's crazy!

On a good note before I go miss_casanova submitted her set and is feeling better. She was sick so make sure that you pop over and gives her your love so she can get well soon! I have some other stuff that's going well too. I started my Saturday night hockey league again. We lost our first game but tied our game last night. I got my first goal of the season too! The line I play on is the first line this year too so we get to start all the games. It makes me feel good.

I have a feeling that more good things are in store for me this year as well!
