Looks like I'm (over)due for another update...

ooo aaa Been auditioning for a various things, but no new projects yet. In fact, looks like I might not even get to perform with my Theatre group this summer because I kept my options open too long.

miao!! My folks got a blue-point siamese cat (since my Mom's redheaded golden retriever died). A pretty friendly cat, and such a quiet purr.

ARRR!!! A friend's boyfriend is creating a new Interactive Experimental Theatre Game (it's kinda like a LARP) called Beyond the Aether. I've been chipping in and helping out, looks to be fun.

blush At the first photoshoot for BtA, I met the game's staff Artist and we seem to have hit it off a bit - we've been chatting online most nights for the last week or so (definitely seem to be on similar wavelengths). Unfortunately, she lives up near Bothell - but, for now, I don't mind enjoying it for what it is. We'll see where it goes.

biggrin Found a nice greenish-grey suit at Goodwill for $24. Was slightly too big, but not so much that the same friend couldn't fix it for me. I'll get it back from her in the next couple days.

Hope things are well with you

<shakes head, smiling> In the last 3 days, I've found mutual (initial) interest with 2 girls (1 on OkCupid and 1 from Speed Dating). Obviously, I don't know how things will pan out but, given my life, it always seems anything interesting comes either Feast or Famine.
<poses valiantly> As always, I shall do my best to endure.

May Life bring you the Love and Happiness you deserve.
love Happy Valentine's Day love

confused I continued chatting with the girl from Salem for a couple weeks. After some great conversation, we finally met in person at a potluck for her christian group. Had fun but, all things considered, it felt more like a friendship.

bok Hosted Thanksgiving at my Grandma's house. Fairly low family drama, plus several complements on my cooking (I was responsible for the Mashed potatos, Candied yams, Cranberry bars, and even made some 2-bite sweet-potato pies) - I'll count it as a success.

EL SUICIDO LOCO Took a stuntwork for camera workshop last weekend, taught by Anthony De Longis. Pretty fun and informative, though my calves and neck were a bit sore by Monday morning.

Anthony called me out for my natural turnout on Saturday (asked if I'd taken ballet class), I commented that it was good for Tango too. A bit later, one of the girls at the workshop approached me about it. She was going to go to a milonga that night, but she didn't show up because the play she was in. However, she did ask to dance a couple times while we were waiting for class to resume and we'll keep in touch through facebook.

ooo aaa As I said before, I did a several days of extra work on the new show Grimm. Been getting a good amount of coverage (especially on last night's episode "Danse Macabre"). I've posted some screencap highlights (but you'll have more fun if you play 'Where's PM'? wink)

Hope your holiday season is going well

Hey guys, I'm back. Hope you're holiday season is going well.

I'll do a proper update soon. But, in the mean time, keep an eye out for me on Grimm - I've done several days of extra work and you can see me walking around as a cop in at least the last two episodes: Beeware and Lonelyhearts.

ooo aaa The Miser went pretty well, completing another summer of comedia.

Did a few days of extra work on a independent movie in town. Since it was about mock trials, I got some use out of my new suit (no better pictures yet though)

robot I met a girl on Chemistry a whiled back. She seemed interesting, but the communications were alway a bit off. Cut to a week later, "she" messaged me that she missed her flight home from London and needed $6-800 so we could "be together". Needless to say I didn't fall for it and haven't heard from "her" ever since.

oink Been doing a fair bit of extra work on that new show Grimm - apparently, I make a pretty good cop. My appearances should start up in the 4th episode (I'll be near a streetcar)

blackeyed Tried attending a Speed Dating event last weekend. Had fun, but no matches. As I've figured, I'm a 'special order' fella - so I can't be too surprised if most girls don't care for my particular charms.

On the bright side, I found some mutual interest from a young lady on OKcupid last night. We ended up IM'ing for a couple hours and I think we'll continue to corespond (she'd down in Salem, so meeting in person will be a little tougher).
Even If nothing come of it, it was a refreshing change of pace.

ooo aaa Played Ichabod Crane in a staged reading of 'Sleepy Hollow' this weekend. Had fun but, as it was a fundraiser, my only compensation was some day-old Grand Central baked goods.

ARRR!!! Looks like nobody's doing anything for Halloween (proper) this year - guess I'll have to just wear my pirate swab costume and pass out candy to the kiddies...for the umpteenth year in a row. whatever

From here on, there's not a lot of plans. Time to finally get around to building my future...

robot Though they said they couldn't find a problem, I haven't suffered another blank screen since I got my laptop back.

I finally got my self a suit. (I'll post a better photo when I get one)

I always kinda wanted one, but I only recently had a reason to: I was invited to some friends' wedding. The ceremony was lovely and the reception was fun (we did some Karaoke).

Time for an update, if for no other reason than the novelty of posting to a naked-girly site from my Wii.

robot The screen on my laptop was tweaking out on me; it sometimes wouldn't wake up when I turned on the computer, and sometimes the colors would shift sharper or dimmer inexplicably. Since it's under warranty, I shipped it off to get fixed.
Note: Browsing the web on a Wii is do-able, but not recommend (unless you have no alternative).

skull Grandpa's funeral was nice. Since he was a Korean War vet (Marines), he got the traditional flag presentation and rifle salute.

confused I did end up having a date with that one girl; I thought it went well, but I think she wanted to focus on being a Big-Sister right now (she'd had a good interview with them just before.)

ooo aaa Looks like I'll be doing another Masque-Alfresco play this summer. I was hoping for something different, but nothing else panned out. <shrugs> At least I'll have some fun and it pays. Plus, I can still fit in some film and commercial work if it comes up.

blush A couple different friends are getting married in July, so I get to go to the Wedding for one and the reception for the other. So, at least I get some variation there.

Take care (I gotta rest my arms now - can't wait 'til my laptop gets back)

[Update: After about 2 weeks, I'm again 'with Laptop' ...Too bad they said they couldn't find a problem]

[Good News]: I got cast for an Industrial video and requested for an Independent Film audition

[Bad News]: They're on the same day

[Good News]: The Former's in the morning, the latter is in the afternoon.

[Bad News]: The Industrial shoot runs long, and they didn't account for us in their lunch order.

[Good News]: I'm able to cobble together a lunch from craft services and I'll be making more money for the extra time.

[Bad News]: I'm late for the audition, It's on the 6th floor of a building w/ elevators that require a key code that nobody on the 1st floor seems to be able to help out with, and there's no contact number I can call.

[Good News]: I find an audition for another Independent Film and they run their audition more professionally.

[Bad News]: My Grandpa apparently had heart attack (there weren't any signs for 2-3 days) and it shocked his system enough that it'll be awhile before he comes home (if at all)

[Good News]: He's doing better, just moved from the cardiac ward yesterday. While he recovers, I get more freedom (only have to take care of the house and his dog).

[Bad News]: There's enough uncertainty that I can't really make long term plans.

[Good News]: A cute girl I've been chatting with on OkCupid agrees to meet up in person and volunteers several days/times she'd be available.

[Bad News]: I have to forgo the first option because it coincides with the potential callback for the independent film.

[Good News]: She accept my plan to meet on Wednesday for lunch.

[Bad News]: She messages me today with a 'heads up' that she "did meet someone in the last few days" in case that affects me wanting to meet her.

Yup, this is pretty much par for tthe course that is my Life - Enough luck that I can't really complain that I'm unlucky, but not enough luck that I can be proactive and not feel like Life isn't slapping my wrist and saying 'No!'

Update: They went to add a couple stents to my Grandpa's heart, but he past away on the operating table. At least he's free of pain now.
