Holy Shit !!
It's been a while since I've logged on. Seems some other folks hqve dropped off too.
Well the Army life has been keeping me busy doin nothin, just wasting my time. Got bout a year left.
Hope to catch back up with some ol buds on here. Hope yall have an awesome holloween, cuz I'm stuck here in Louisana waiting to train up guys headin out to Afghanistan.

Finally one step closer to being back to tha states. Yesssss!! But i digress, it still feels like i'm not going anywhere. It might finally hit me when we're on the plane over the Atlantic. Can't wait to finally get ahold of some cold beers and whiskey and be at my own house and out of this sad part of the world.

Almost out of here. Not much has been goin on besides regular missions pickin up a bit and gettin our stuff ready to go. My buddy and his outfit caught the guys that were attacking us in Dec and earlier in the month. Just before he was goin on leave too. He was pretty happy he got to go kick in some doors. Also, we found some puppies at one of the patrol bases that we visit, so it helps to pass the time while we're waiting, relieves some stress too. Crazy how dogs can be theraputic or whatever. Can't wait to get back to tha states.

Not much goin on here, nothin new. We're still getting rocket attacks every other day. We went out on mission today with our commander. He said the Quick Reaction Force (QRF) found a note last nite at the launch site. It basicly stated that they'll keep attacking us till we leave the country and that they're the shit. Well, if they keep it up I dont think we'll be leavin anytime soon. So far we've been lucky they haven't scored a direct hit on anything or anyone. I just hope we can catch these fuckers in the act while we're out on patrol. They always attack just when we're about to go to sleep or sometime right before we have to get up. We find the launch site but never see these dudes set it up and we never find the dudes that did it. There are Iraqi Army check points every where but they never see anything. I think its those fucker that are doing it. Anyway I forgot to show my support of SG out on the mission today and get a pic of it. Will do the next time I'm out there.
