I went to see, Eyes of Firem Bleed the Sky, Silent Civilian, GOD FORBID, and Ill Nino on sunday! I swear I'm rarely ever so damn happy that I'm like..almost crying tears of joy but man, I was that night!
I spent like amost 2 hours total talkin to Eye's of Fire's lead singer. He signed shit for me and Sarah, told me never to give up on myself in druming and like, gave me some advice on that area. We kept talking to eachoter througout that night which was really cool. He huged me too..which may sound gay but that ment so much to me I got totaly choked up after he did it. Why? Cuz he dosn't have his fuckin head up his ass is why. I swear, if I didn't have to drive home, we coulda been backstage with him and the rest of the bands gettin drunk cuz he just seemed like he woulda did that. He's just that cool of a guy. So go buy their albums bitch!
The lead singer from Bleed The Sky signed one of their albums for me too. And a poster for Sarah.
What was really makin my night though, aside from the cool EoF guy was that Byron from God Forbid, walks past me, I reach out to shake his hand, he shakes it, but instead of continuing to walk past me, he comes closer and talks to me, signs some shit for me and Sarah then pats me on the back before he heads to the bar....now repeat the same thing, only with Dallas, the gutarist from GF, and add a Picture of him and I!! Doc walked past me, but Sarah went up to him and he signed her shirt. I didn't care that he did though because he GAVE ME HIS GUTAR PICK! He fuckin gets done playing the song, nods to me and underhand tosses the pick right to me. Its all scratched in shit. Oh and another cool thing. Byron pointed me out in the crowed not once, not twice, but FOUR times for headbangin and singing the lyrics. He came over to the side of the stage I was on like 3 times, once as if he was steping towards me to point the mic to me so I could sing the words..just I didn't know the words to...

That dosn't sound like much, but the fact that these bands, some who I loved, some who I now love. Take that much time to acknowlege my exsistance is fuckin AWESOME! So these bands go right up there with how fuckin cool the guys from AtomShip are. I spent 2 hours talkin to them after the show at the filmore. They signed my bus transfer too! lol. I swear, the way I feel about that, I wanna make someone feel that joy too. I wanna get a 3rd band started soon. I already play drums, i know somebody who plays gutar, Sarah knows someone who plays bass and was already in a band. We need to come together like the wonder twins and get this band started.
