Does anybody else think it's a recipe for disaster when a very cute girl, who has clearly always been very attractive and known it, starts dating a guy who is not exceptionally smart, attractive, athletic, charming or wealthy and knows all of these things?

Life is pretty much the same. Work has been grating on me a bit, lately.

I'm sure it'll pass.

Still not dating. I'm pretty sure that I could be, but ti hasn't seemed worth the effort for a while. One of the few people I was really interested in lately died in a car accident...so, uh, I gave up on that one.

Another cop came up to the craps table wearing their gun a while ago.

I don't care who you are, wearing a gun in a casino is disconcerting.

I got home from the Olympia live show a few minutes ago and thought I'd take a moment to post about how much fun I had before I run off to scrub the beer and honey off of myself.

The entire show was great. The opening bands (Vertebrae by Vertebrae and Dirty Birds) were pretty decent, although I think the mic on the Dirty Birds singers sax was set a bit high. Once the bands were done, I made a point of staking out a spot right in front of the stage.

Damn, I'm glad I did that.

I'm convinced that I had the absolute best spot in the house for viewing a really fun show full of drop-dead-gorgeous girls. Xiolita's Hula hoop routine, Reno's "Darling Nikki" routine and the "Missed Me" routine (I didn't catch the dancer's name, but I really loved every moment that she was on stage) were highlights for me. Razzi's routine with the glowing balls was pretty fucking awesome, too. Nixon and Reagan both have an amazing amount of stage presence and drew the eye every time they were on stage. On top of that, Austin is just crazy hot. The whole troupe left me smiling for the whole show, I think I may have lost my voice screaming and bruised my hands clapping.

I definitely recommend seeing the show for anyone who can make it.

I know you've all been in terrible suspense.

Here's my review of Clerks II.

It's pretty fuckin' funny.

On a par with the first few Kevin Smith films, even.

Hopefully he keeps this up and doesn't backslide.

Also, Rosario Dawson is ridiculously hot.

Today I'm going to go see Clerks II before work.

I'll let y'all know if I was terribly disappointed.

Damn.

I'm sitting here all hot and sweaty and I didn't even do anything fun to get that way.

Fuckin' summer.

Also, where'd all this extra libido come from?
