My laptop fell off the desk the other day, and the LCD has broken. So I have limited web access until the insurance company plays ball. I'm on the family PC right now.
The temp job was OK, but very boring - just stuffing envelopes *groan* Hopefully something better will come up soon. I only did it for 2 days because there were no more envelopes to stuff
My eye/eyelid got infected the other day and it swell up like a balloon. Thankfully the antibiotics have started to kick in and it looks (and feels) much better now.

My driving lessons have been moved to Tuesdays, so I didn't have a lesson this evening.
I managed to find some temp work at Hoddesdon, admin-type stuff, after registering at an agency. I didn't expect to get work so quickly! It's 9-5, and a bit of a trek, but I need the money plus it's only until Friday unless they want to take me on for longer, which I doubt.
Ugggghhh... having to get up early in the morning

I'm waiting for the postman to arrive with my new Nintendo DS, but no sign of him yet and I'm getting tetchy.
I can't go to the funeral of my great gran, because someone has to stay at home and look after Spike (my dog). I'm OK with that, because it's the time you spend with people in life that counts.
I need to get some photoshoots arranged but I'm procrastinating. I haven't heard back from the surgery about that receptionist job I applied for either.

Almost went horribly wrong. Bleaching out black is always an utter bitch.
In another two weeks I'll probably bleach again (should go bright blonde) then put some SFX over that.

Waking up to only a couple of new emails is rather depressing!
On another note, after much umming and aaaahing, I have decided to leave college.
I can't stand that place anymore. I've had like, 4 lessons of Sociology in almost half a year because the teacher got ill and they don't have another one else that teaches it for A2. I'm getting deja vu - schools and colleges always let me down. There's no point me staying for another 6 months only to fail my exams. That's a pointless waste of time.
I'm not going to uni anytime soon either. I'm not putting my future (and my money!) in the hands of another educational establishment for a long time.
I'm not gonna let anyone tell me that I need a degree to get what I want in life. There's so much more choice available nowadays.
I'm going to get a job, learn to drive (first lesson on the 16th at 8.15pm), and get myself into a comfortable position before I start studying again.
I have to go to the doctor's sometime soon, to see if I'm able to start coming off the anti-depressants. I know that won't happen if I stay in college, so screw being dependant like that.
The recent death of our next-door neighbour (middle-aged) has given me a wake up call. I'm going to improve my health. I am not going to overwork myself into my forties and just drop dead like that.
Anyway, enough rambling about unsettling topics. I'm off to work soon.

I've been invited to appear on Twistd Wishes Entertainment&Talent, which I probably will. Doesn't seem as uber as Dark Arts, but what the heck.
No luck on finding a webdesigner, and no replies from those I've sent emails to = damn. The search continues. If any of you do pretty webdesign please make yourselves known
