I went to victoria a couple days ago...bored on the ferry, it came to me that i have a video camera on my iPhone! Gotta love apple. iMovie is pretty easy to use....it is taking me a while to find out how everything works. I've never made a video before, so this one is just for fun. It literally made me sick, watching this though. It's shaky and all full of motion sickness, haha.
Enjoy this very incomplete poor quality film. With some practice, I plan to make better vids this summer!

It was a good day today. I spent most of the day at the library. Our downtown library is probably one of my most favourite places in the world. It's so relaxing, very huge, babes everywhere. I'm really trying to nail down my business concept and I got some great ideas today and some recipes to try out for the menu.
I took some time to appreciate my home and surroundings today. It's been a real feeling that I'll be missing this place and my apartment when I move out east. When I come back to van, I really hope to get back into this building. My hilarious japanese neighbour was out in the park as well and spotted me taking photos, and insisted on taking one of me, it turned out horrible but I guess I'll live a little and post it anyway. He works for the cupcake girls and gets to take home faulty cupcakes. He brought me two. There is NOTHING faulty about these. There goes my summer bod

Welcome to my morning face! Sorry, but just had to document a before picture, because I'm having a hair adventure today. Seeing as I'v ditched my ultra conservative job, I can do what I want! I want to cover my whole head in a magical purple or a fire red maybe...I even considered green, but maybe I'm scared of that option
I actually never do test strands and just look forward to the mystery. I haven't decided yet, but here's a test strand of purple I tried last night.

I'm back again!
It's been so long, and I can't deny I've missed this place. I wanted to get back into blogging, so I started using tumblr. Unfortunately, communication is hard on that site, so i mostly just posted photos and pretty things....wasn't able to say what I really wanted.
Life is always changing. Too fast almost....which is why I plan to move somewhere more quiet. I initially had my heart set on Ft. Collins Colorado, BECAUSE I LOVE COLORADO!! Such a beautiful place, have lived there before and always want to go back. But it would be such an expense. Maybe later when I'm ready to find a true home/family/etc. Newfoundland seems to be where it's at. I've got family, free accommodation, free eats, fishing, hiking, and most importantly, quiet! Vancouver has been giving me a headache. So much distraction, I can't focus. I've applied to a full time business program in Newfoundland. I may only do one year there and come back. The main goal is to be in a new environment, reanalyze my goals, and fit some learnin' in there while I'm at it.

So I never blog, but I seem to now have a smidgen of a little more time since my guy is back home visiting his family. I'm working a ton at a spa downtown. Loving it and hating it, just like a normal job. My lease is up soon and will be able to move downtown in August to be closer to the action and of course work! I will miss kitsilano though. it's so relaxing in the summer time. The beach is wonderful...lots of little untouched spots that i've found while living here.

OOOOOOO my membership is expiring soon! I'm still debating on whether I should renew right away. I don't use this that often...I'd like to start back again though.

So, I've been working at this bakery. I love what I'm learning, but don't love the atmosphere. But for now, it works because it's full time and I need $$$. I'm in love with the baking world and have this new obsession with pies. I make a pie everytime i have a free hour. Struggling a bit with crusts, because I'm impatient.

Over the summer, I discovered the wonders of the brazilian wax. I went in regularly to get it done, but over the fall, I got really lazy and things just got out of hand. So I went in this morning for the first time in a few months...and it was like the first time all over again. I just wanted to cry! Thank goodness I didn't walk to this place. I could barely get to my car afterward. But, I am so happy it's done and overwith now.
Things have been overall pretty good. The past couple weeks I've been hitting up the drinks almost a little too much. But I am sick this weekend, so that's a good excuse to not be tempted to go out. Girl's gotta get some rest! I never ever get sick....so I'm not used to it, and have caught myself whining too much, haha. Yesterday was the bad day, but things feel pretty good right now, so I think it's over. I just love my fantastic immune system
I'm still workin at the toy store with mah girl Alkaline ...but i'm taking up a new job soon at a bakery called Cobs Bread. Best bread you've ever tasted! It was so hard to tell her that i'm leaving for another job...because she is my BFF after all! I'm going to get enrolled in school again. I think a degree in business. This does mean I have to basically start all over again. 3 years of art school down the drain. But that's OK! School will be fun. I always love meeting new people and learning new things. Oh that sounded so wholesome

Oh and another thing. There's this Aussie guy I kept running into in gastown.....AND i've got a date with him tomorrow. I like! Very nice!
