I'm happy because Vanessa isn't leaving. She is full of win and if she left, SG would have less win in it. We don't want that to happen.

In other news, I'd like to ask for you folks who have upcoming primaries to register to vote, if you haven't already. And if you don't mind too terribly, vote for Obama. He just so happens to be the future.

And bring your friends! Just in case they want to, you know, vote for the future.

One last thing:

Don't vote for that Clinton lady, ok?

I read some crap today in the CE boards and it made me angry. So I must repost in my bloggiewoggie:

Here's my problem with this statement. 2,974 Americans died on September 11, 2001. It was tragic and heart wrenching. But because of a war founded on a lie and perpetuated using fear 3,966 Americans have died in Iraq. You imply that since Iraq was fucked up, we had to go unfuck it up before it fucked us up and that's why we went to war there.

How is it preventative to spend half a trillion dollar and thousands of lives in this war? By being here, we're fucking ourselves up. Fucking ourselves up and preventing what?

Since we've started, there have been even more attacks linked to Al Qaeda. These are the guys who we're supposed to be preventing from fucking shit up. People have died in Algiers, Madrid, Londonand Australia. But that doesn't matter, they aren't Americans - it's not on American soil.

The great and mighty POTUS has adopted an "if you're not with us, you're against us" foreign policy with regard to the war. But who would want to be with us? We're dropping like flies!

You're right though, some parts of the world are fucked up. The US is one of them. So who, I ask, is going to unfuck us?

EDIT: WTF happened to Zarth?

'Tis time for a new blog. A birdie wearing brass informed me we're coming home early. I'm happy.

I'm scrambling to finish my last college app. I need to get back to doing scholarships essays puking in my mouth.

I'm starting to get afraid that I'll become a scared little hermit when I move to a big city. Hopefully, I can use SG to make some friends when I move.

I've been having these "out damned spot" moments as of late. If you're familiar with Hamlet, you know what I'm talking about and I'm 1000% serious. I'm starting to think I'm losing it a little bit. I'm genuinely starting to get a bit worried.

I'm having difficulty dealing with being over here. And watching the silent turmoil occuring in the news everyday is taking its toll on my too. What am I "fighting" for? I'm usually confident, but that confidence has wavered greatly.

I have a pretty big passion for politics. This presidency has taken a terrible toll on this country. I know that it's nearly over. But the president is not the only problem. Our bipartisan system is strangling us. I can't see it changing. I believe in Barack Obama. I believe in his ability to inspire the people of America. But doubt is creeping in on all sides.

I'm better. My internet is no longer broken. But my poor computer has multiple sclerosis and it is dying. I need a new one. A pink one, specifically.

I can choose between Dell ( puke ), Voodoo ($$$$$), Vaio (*shrug*), Q2 Designs (who?) and Apple (Noooooooooooooo!!!!!!!).

Decisions...

Nothing like waking to up a mortar explosion 400 meters away from your bed to give you perspective.
