OK,
I was gonna attempt a run down on my trip to Glasgow with Supercrush but it would basically be me gushing about how awesome everything was and I have videos and pictures that speak for themselves.
Out of the whole trip, only 2 bad things happened.
First off, at the Guitar Clinic on Monday, Supercrush gave me her new camera which films in Full HD so I could film the whole thing. The camera had a freshly charged battery and a brand new 32GB memory card.
Devin arrived, and I started filming. And 30 seconds in, the camera stopped filming. Restarted. Same thing. FUCK! I passed the camera back to Supercrush and she managed to get it to record for longer, but it would stop at 10 minute intervals. And then, at the end she said that everything was gone and it was stating a card error! NO!!!!
So at this point, the actual Guitar Clinic was done, but Devin being awesome stated that he was gonna stay and sign and take pictures with everyone who wanted....and we didn't have a spare memory card! So Supercrush went out to see if she could get one quickly from a shop in the street and I held our place in the line.
Thankfully, she managed to get one and came back in plenty of time and we got to meet the man himself!
We got our copies of Addicted signed and had a brief chat with him about a couple of music related things and how we had basically named our acoustic group "Numbered" after his song. He was so polite and thankful and courteous, just a true Canadian!
So we were buzzing so hard after the clinic and actually getting to meet the man himself, it was almost like a dream! We were gutted that the memory card had crapped out on us, but figured that someone else would have filmed it all and uploaded it.....and they did! It's worth a watch even if you are not a guitarist as it's very informal but very entertaining!

SO....it turned out that the brand new memory card Supercrush had bought, was faulty. Before we had even got home, she had an email from the supplier saying he had had a load of people saying that cards from that batch were fucked!
So what this meant is that I was able to film a few tracks from the show that night with the new memory card, in HD and I have uploaded them to You Tube!
Gonna let these vids speak for themselves.....
The rest of the time spent with Supercrush in Glasgow was awesome too. Lots of good food, lots of awesome mind blowing sex and in general it was just really nice to get away and chill the fuck out!

People need to stop saying "just sayin".
If you say to me, "Hey you are a massive cock sucker, just sayin....." you still just called me a cocksucker and that "just sayin" doesn't change the fact that you were being rude.
If you tell this joke : "How do cripples make love? They rub their crutches together..... just sayin" you still just told a rude joke and the "just sayin" does not take the sting out of that joke.
I frown upon this phrase because it can make otherwise seemingly intelligent people come across as complete and utter fucktards, but because everyone seems to use this phrase, it's been accepted as an out to people generaly being snide, rude and ignorant.

It's been a LONG day.
It's late. Almost 11pm. I've been on the go since 7:30am and I am just home after a 120 mile drive home from work.
Had to get up early and get the car down to the garage for it's MOT retest (if anyone read my blog at the beginning of last week you may remember my car failing its MOT test and the garage quoting £500 to get it fixed). My bro in law was awesome and fitted all the parts I got which instead of costing me £500 cost me maybe £150 max. I also wouldn't have managed to get all that sorted without the help of my best friend Supercrush. She is fucking AMAZING. (She is also amazing at fucking too.....
)
So, get the all clear from for the garage and go pick the motor up and come home and start packing it with my gear for work.
Managed to schedule my morning lesson a bit earlier since Supercrush and I were going to practice before I headed off down south to the Music project I work at. Get to the lesson only to find I had left what I shall say is a very important and vital cable for one of my guitars at home!!! Dammit.
So I went round to Supercrush's, dropped off the gear we needed to practice and then had to drive the 20 mile round trip home to get the cable and back. I needed my hair cut badly so she did that quickly for me and then we did a whirlwind practice and then I was on the road for over two hours to the music project.
Had a lot of fun, got to have a jam with the kids, got to use some of my new equipment on stage for the first time and got paid too which was nice!
And now, I'm home feeling rather drained but kinda buzzed at the same time. Almost like I'm vibrating really slowly.
I have messages I need to respond to in regards to the generic "instantsuicidegirl" issues that I blogged about, but they will have to wait for now!
I sincerely hope everyone is awesome.
