Baked a Hazelnut-Pear Cake...so moist and perfectly sweet...it made for a good breakfast too

Tofuturkey...which is a silly invention I will admit. But it tastes good...and goes down in my tummy better than real turkey...there are some tofu sausages in there too
Asparagus... which I didn't actually eat any of because I don't really like asparagus that much, but it looks so green!
Stuffing or "dressing" whatever you want to call it...the best part of the meal for me! mmmmm!
Of course there was also mashed potatoes, cranberry sauce, pumpkin pie, and a very good yam dish that had apples in it.
mmmmm....I am hungry just looking at these pics...looking forward to eating basically the same thing for x-mas dinner. (except I plan on making the pumpkin pie next time instead of getting the store bought one) I just hope the vibes at dinner are better than they were at thanksgiving....my boyfriends family is awesome but we are very different people...and have different political views. Of course politics always comes up with them...its like they enjoy debating. But debating turns into yelling and arguing, which is not pleasant over dinner. I would just love to have one meal with them where politics does not come up.
I have pretty much abandoned my Sony camera for my boyfriend's Nikon D5000
it just works like a dream!!! but I also really want a Canon... I just notice a lot of photographers who use
Nikons and Canons...I almost always love the quality of their images.
How about all the crazy shit that happened on "black friday"? So ridiculous...for real people? Fighting over $2 waffle makers or whatever. I'm having a "buy nothing x-mas" mostly because I can't afford to shop....but also because I don't care to support that part of the Holiday season....there are plenty of ways to give to people you love and your community without spending a bunch of money. I enjoy making gifts...I think I do some dream pillows again....but I really just want to spend time with family. My older brother was here for a few days last month, wish he could come visit again for x-mas. My family is scattered....it kinda sucks. I miss the good ol days when we all lived in one big cozy messy house.
My birthday is next month...I'll be 27

So weird...age is. I just don't know what to think about that number...should I have accomplished some grand thing by now? Or do I still have 3 years until I'm 30 to do it all....shit!
Because 3 years will go flying by so fast....

My poor Kitty has an eye infection or something...his eye is swollen shut. Poor guy! Wanted to take him to the vet today, but the lady I like wasn't there. I hope it's nothing serious, he's never had anything wrong with him.

There was a huge spider by my front door last night. It was so very HUGE!!! I thought for sure it was staring me down waiting to jump on me, but I had to take a few pics real quick. Then quick back inside! Hope this fucker does not make his way into my house!! He can catch all the bugs his little spidey heart desires on the porch
It doesn't look that big in the pics, but I'm telling you it was HUGE!!
My snake is doing good ...growing fast as ever! But still just a baby...she needs a bigger cage!

Went to the beach yesterday, it was so warm and nice! Even the water felt good, not deathly cold like it would be today
Such a beautiful beach, if your ever in the Bay Area check out Black Sands Beach, you won't regret it I promise. It is a nude beach, but it was super chill and big and clean!

and yes I'm a vegan who feeds her snake live mice! Muahahahahah!
Also spent some time cuddling with my Mochi cat, whom I haven't seen in like 2 months! She's being fed for sure, she's no skinnier than usual, she's a little thing. But I still wish she would live with me! My neighbors are lucky, whoever it is that's hanging out with her...she's super sweet!
It's a really warm beautiful night, went star gazing for a while. Have you seen any shooting stars lately??
