Two new free walls in fountain square...


It's super gratifying to see the art/music/local business community blitzkrieg one spot. Gives me a tingle of hope for Indy...
Shot some vids for couple music projects I'm hammerin out. Should be edited by the end of the month. Will post them here before I hit FB.

A) Dreamt about that brown eyed girl again. From a cultural perspective, dreams usually fall in 3 distinct categories; 1) Fitful and hilariously ridiculous. 2) Ascension based. Separation from body/human laws of physics and dimentionality. 3) Distinct connections with people/places that exist in and around my waking life.
Brown eyes falls starkly in category 3. Usually within 2 dreams I'll meet the the person or the event will unfold. It's been 4 now. Wondering what the hold up is.

B) Got another call from that same production company. They offered a me a gig as host of a history channel series. Not pumped about the show, but I told them I'd consider it if they let me pitch them another show. So far the ball is rolling. Hoping this one pans out. The TV/Film biz is fickle as hell and the last 3 projects tanked.

C) Totally enamored with this girl/song. If she tours anywhere close, I will absolutely call in favors to get next to her.


P.S. Still haven't got my camera back...

Spent 2 weeks lookin for my camera. Finally got a call from one of the girls in the last music vid shoot. She totally snaked it...post some pics when I get it back.

Had a pretty tantalizing offer drop in my lap. Seems like the perfect time to take a fairly incalculable risk. Was almost certain the big fish would bite the T.V. script, but it looks like there'll be a feature film in the very near future...
Here's some work from my favorite local creature creator, Lynette Ekland. It took 9 people to fill and animate that dragon. She designed the first species prosthetic suit as well as several Dinosaurs from Jurassic Park...and she lives here in Indy? Don't ask me how I got that lucky.

Looks like I'll be heading back to D.C. in the fall for reshoots. If you think reality shows are like watching a train wreck, try filming one.

Can't get enough of these guys. My SG theme song for the next few days...play it loud...wait for it...

Great crew. Great script. Doing this again in 6 weeks...hope it's as fun as this was.

Snuck off to the Gray Bear Lodge in Tennessee for some well deserved r&r. This was my cabin for the weekend.

Amazing yoga facility...

My favorite spot,though, was the wood stove sauna and spring fed cold dip...

Or maybe the stone jacuzzi under the stars...

The all locally stocked kitchen...

The kind of place you go to melt away all the BS...

Had a great time in Alabama. Built a lodge for some good people then scorched'm! The two best things about hangin out with old Cherokee elders; 1) You can't help but feel enriched by their stories and deep cultural perspective. 2) They always have hot granddaughters! Can't wait to go back down and hang with all those good people again.


Stopped to eat at Wintzell's Oyster Bar.
Cheese grits with grilled shrimp and crawdad etouffee, fried oysters and fried okra. My friend had jumbalaya pot pie and sweet potato fries.


New Years resolution...to not spend much time at home...

I gave my good buffalo hide lodge drum away. So it's time to make a new one. I think I'm gonna use buffalo again on the bigger one but probably elk on the smaller one.
