I had the best birthday of my life yesterday. Monday Runday with the coworkers at the waterfront, bbq with basically all of my friends at pt. D, then party party party with a select few later on only 364 days till bar time!
Sounds like you had a great birthday! Just remember, barbecue is different in other parts of the nation. Since I grew up in the northwest (had some great times in Tacoma), I thought it was just lighting some charcoal and cooking with it. Not in Texas; brisket is cooked over wood for hours. Anything else is not barbecue. People in Carolina, or Kansas, or Tennessee, or Maryland, would find that laughable. But would agree that putting a burger on a grill is not barbecue.
