How's everyone in SG Land?

Wow...last blog was back in April?
Things are so exciting...or maybe just normal, yeah.

Happy Netflix has all the new Dr. Who they can available for streaming, now if only all of the classic episodes were, too... Seems random what is and isn't available to stream in general.

Question is, which series do I start next...

anyway...yeah, that's about it. Other than redoing the web portfolio for the job search...not much else right now.

And here I thought I barely kept up on Facebook.

What is going on...hmmm...
job search workshops "boot camp" thing...one more class on Monday, then I have to make up the one I sort of overslept for...of course, it had to be the one about resume writing. Theen, they assign me a job seeking counselor type person. Woot!
And I need to see if I can get the aid I was initially told I didn't qualify for to take a class or two at College of DuPage.

Otherwise, it's all part time retail, and flats for the Marvel colorist (yeah, sure, I'll post for a job doing the most annoying and tedious part of computer coloring. Still extra money, though), and, personal projects, and, of course: Mortal Kombaaaat! (among other games)

And, other than being behind on Netflix DVDs and thoroughly failing at the "monthly" part of arranging monthly SG gatherings...that's about it.

Web Comic!

Huh. That time of year again. And again, it's gotten here way too fast.

I seem to be caught up in this cycle of being down/depressed about my situation, and so not feeling too motivated to do things like look for jobs or improve my portfolio, or get much done. And then, when I let myself get distracted, and don't get much done, I'm depressed again.
I have gotten a couple applications done over the past couple days, so that's something.
But I have been wondering if the depression and lack of motivation is all environmental.
Pretty far back, I can remember having this problem with motivation and direction. Knowing there are things I need to do, but just procrastinating, and not getting them done. And really, I'm not sure what's up with that.
Lately, I've honestly been considering getting some sort of professional help. And then I tell myself, "nah, I don't need it. I can rise above this crap on my own." But then, I'm not sure again.
Something definitely has to change. I just wish I could figure out how to make it happen.
