So I have worked out a few things:
The pros of working from home:
- my commute is literally seconds
- it doesn't matter how I dress/if I've washed my hair
- I can drink ALL the tea
- I actually go out for a run in the evening, or do some sort of exercise in the time I would normally commute home
The cons of working from home:
- Sometimes I don't feel like I exist anywhere but on the internet
- I realise how paranoid I am when I start thinking my work is watching me through my computer
- I realise just how much housework there is
- I miss having work friends
- I eat WAY more because the food is just there, as opposed to in a shop
New job is going ok I think. I still have no idea why they hired me or what I'm supposed to do but people tell me this is normal 2 weeks in....we shall see.
