I've got nothing. Really.
Working my ass off, mainly about 24/7365, though I am set to head off to the outer banks of NC in two weeks. If some hurricane doesn't come along and fuck with us.
Not a great trip though. Traveling with a two year old. Connecting flights in Philadelphia, home of the 5 hour tarmac sit and the a week with my sisters.
Joy.

Well. my sweet little one turns two tomorrow. I can't believe that is has been two years. The time just seems to slip away.
Even though she is full on into the terrible twos (lays down on the floor and cries when she doesn't get her way - classic) she still makes me laugh and fills me with joy every day.
This is not where I saw myself at this point in my life. But I would not have it any different. And I would not switch roles with anyone. Staying home with her has allowed me to see her grow in ways that I missed with my other children.
It's good stuff.

Okay, crops are in the ground.
This year I am raising:
Red onions
Yellow onions (one regular and one storage variety)
Leeks
Shallots
Broccoli
Cabbage
Brussels sprouts
Spinach
Red and green leaf lettuce
Mesclun
Potatoes
Sweet corn
Green beans
Pinto beans
Grape tomatoes
Roma tomatoes
Brandywine (heirloom) tomatoes
Okra
Gourds
Cucumbers (pickling)
Herbs (Basil, Dill, Oregano, Peppermint, Cilantro, Sage, Rosemary among others)
Carrots (eating and storage)
Raspberries
Blueberries
Strawberries
Concord grapes
Horseradish (is that an herb?)
Now, the question is, will the bugs eat it all before I do?

Well, clearly I am back from my hiatus though I am still suffering through ups and downs with this place. But, when I need a mental break there is nothing like lampooning the idiots on the boards, or getting educated by some of the very informative stuff going up of late.
I am pretty crazed at the moment. Several projects in the air and SG is part of my procrastination mechanism too. So that always helps.
