barely any time for anything ever lately, its been a crazy year, mostly when i get on here all i get a chance to do is check out a set of the day and maybe see what hopefuls are on the main page list.

I'm a dad now
The podcast over at the nerd train podcast kept going pretty well, we seem to have a fair few subscribers over on iTunes, bit of a hiatus over the last few months though because of all the recording and stuff we have been doing to try and get our youtube channel rocking at The Nerd Train YouTube Channel
then there is the whole thing where I'm my mother's carer now as her health has gone so far downhill,
aaaand my girlfriend has gone back to work so I'm doing the stay at home dad thing whenever she is at work, booyah!

somewhere between actually trying to get my license, trying to play the star wars MMO, sorting out the nursery, and all the other stuff i usually do its been a hectic week!
Nursery sorted, pretty much, I have a feeling we will find a way to get more "stuff" and "things" in there to spoil her with when she arrives but for now its done.
my cat just ran head first into the leg of my table, kitties are so shmart!
Star wars MMO much more awesome than I was expecting, its actually taking up some of my time, and I'm already rolling more than one character. Thats very rare for me in an MMO since i usually just play one, get bored and leave it.
also concluded i need more T-shirts, realized i have a billion pairs of jeans and like, 5 T-shirts i cycle through :/

oh man, Its been a week,
a week of horrible debilitating illness coupled with NOTHING AT ALL getting done around the house by me,
shame really, but then again, maybe not really...because housework is boring...
but hey!
going on a bit of a drive to try and actually get some friends on here, so joined the NO FRIENDS group, and I'm about to start sending around random friend requests, because i came to realize a few days ago how anti social i really am to join a social website and effectively just come here to look at the boobage now and then :p
that brings to mind that i don't really know the...etiquette of this place? but I'm sure I'll find out shortly.
the nerd train podcast me and a friend started last year is doing alright as far as listeners go i guess. I actually have no basis for that assumption but we seem to be getting more listeners to our nerdy rant time than i thought we would, surprisingly enough in china of all places, where i am promptly expecting to be internet banned from soon due to their horrible internet filter.
getting pumped more and more lately too since I'm set to be a father in about 5-6 weeks depending on if my daughter is on time, was scared shitless at first, definitely not gonna lie about that, but now its getting closer and closer and I'm doing things like sorting out her room and stuff, I'm getting extra excited.

did the family thing at home so I cooked like a champ, which was good for me, seeing as though, you know, I just cleaned up and tooled around for the rest of the night after the family left.
no real plans for new years, this will be the second year in a row, how very...unexciting, but then again I suppose I will have to get used to this, seeing as though me and my owner are expecting a baby!

now that I think of it i need to get cracking on finding some of the kids shows from when I was young...since I think dora the explorer would send me into a murderous rage, my little pony is well animated at least...I guess we shall see.

think I might spend the night killing time for a bit, got asked to go to two different party social eventy thinguses and just...really can't be arsed right now,
its so weird its like I'm always frikkin tired, no matter what.
I could sleep for a million hours a day and then BAM, ten minutes after I wake up I'm all groggy and just want to sleep again.
anyhow, been playing a lot of call of duty : black ops lately,
its kinda weird, almost like a love/ hate relationship with the game, if theres people i can play with its the greatest game ever for the multiplayers, as soon as there isn't, playing it feels like im trying to suck out my eye with a toilet plunger. its just not fun on your own as far as I'm concerned.
that said, is it just me or is single player action gaming just dead in general?
seriously, it seems like me and everyone else on the planet always looks at the upcoming action titles of the forthcoming year and says "is it co-op?, is it online?, i wonder what the multiplayer is going to be like".
hell, even resident evil 5 had online co-op, the net code was kinda buggy so you dropped out now and then, but it was still there, and thats what mattered.

since I finally subscribed to the suicide girls after a long time of procrastination, I figured that I probably shouldn't spend ALL of my time on this site dicking around looking at groups and then reading everything in them.
went a fav'd a few of the suicide girls that I remembered from when I first heard about the site a while back, glad to find that most of them are still active, actually, I think all of them are, so, hazah!

its sitting on 1:20AM here, I'm a tad drunk, figured I'd make a blog, cause you know, i obviously did a lot of interesting stuff today?...i guess?... :p
Finally started playing mass effect 2 again, brought all the DLC for it a few days ago so i felt like i should start it all over again. I still say its a pretty awesome game, and the DLC for it added more stuff to the already gargantuan pile of stuff, so that's pretty awesome.
a buddy of mine is down from interstate til tomorrow, so, we've played some games, had a few drinks, its good to have him back down here for even a day or two.
There we go! as per the usual fail of my time online if I don't think of a purpose or topic, I tend to get a few lines out, get into games, and then slowly drop off because failing to plan is planning to fail and all that.
