Yup, busy busy. I still have 7 commissions in line. I'm just hoping they keep coming so I can start socking money away to pay off all the damn hospital bills we've got going on.

Been super busy. Had some shit go down with our sitter. Now I'm a stay at home Mom. Had something terrible happen this past week. Now we're getting back to normal life. I'm working on creating a whole new Etsy shop. I will need to start raising money for some serious medical bills that will be headed our way. Stay tuned, I'll be selling lots of hats, animals, monsters, star war dudes, and patterns for those of you who'd rather create stuff yourself.

She's so beautiful guys....
Seriously she melts my heart on a daily basis. She has grown out of her hysterical crying phase and has moved onto her extremely talkative, happy, drooly phase. I wanted a child for so very long and it turns out being a Mommy is even more amazing than I ever could have imagined.
Subby and I are working super hard to pay off my car, because as soon as that is done I will be a stay at home Mommy. Just 7 grand away. This excites me to no end. I love that our lives have become what we've hoped they would.

My 6 weeks of maternity leave is up. I have to go back to work today and I'm extremely upset about it. I wish I could just find a fucking way to pay off my car so I can be at home with my baby where I belong.
I used to have this delusional thought that sometimes babies were happy when they were awake. In reality they just scream, head butt you in the face, try to suck milk out of your nose, kick your kidneys through your stomach and then scream at you again cuz none of the previous things made them happy.
Thankfully they're SUPER cute when they sleep else noone would ever have kids

We took Ollie in for her 2 wk check up yesterday. The doc said she looks to be an extremely healthy baby. She's gaining serious weight (this does not shock my sore boobs) and is now at 9lbs 7oz. She's a champion boob juice sucker. We don't really like this pediatrician though and we'll probably switch. The last straw was him being almost 1 1/2 hours late for our appointment without anyone warning us there would be a delay. That's unacceptable. Olivia has to eat every 2 hours during the day so his tardiness led to her having a full fledge freak out.
In other news, I'm desperately trying to figure out how I can pay off my car loan and Subby's car loan so I can quit working and be a stay at home Mom. Mostly I just gotta keep hoping we win the lotto
Until then, my girlfriend will be watching Ollie for $100 a week which is way cheaper than daycare around here.

Just a quick update. Ollie is almost 2 weeks old now and has not figured out that night is for sleeping. This has led to me becoming quite the basketcase. We're also trying to figure out how she can sleep because she current wakes up the second you set her down anywhere, she doesnt like being on flat surfaces. We'll figure things out eventually. Thankfully I have Subby to keep me calm when I'm at my wits end after hours of unrelenting screaming. He's able to stay calm when I break down.
Being a Mommy with a very angry baby is hard going BUT I wouldn't trade her in for the world. I mean, who could possible look at this face without just loving her no matter the struggle she gives.
Hopefully I'll be able to figure out how to at least get her laying down before I go back to work at the end of September. That's my current goal anywho

Say hello to my sweet Lil Blueberry Olivia
The love of my life was born on August 16th at 5:02am after a whopping 27 hours of labor.
Yeah, she's got some hardcore chubby cheeks. She came out weighing 9lbs 1oz and is 22 inches long. My baby don't play, she reaches to be the biggest and the best
Anywho, we just got home from the hospital yesterday afternoon. We've spent theses first few days of her life trying to figure out how to make her sleep without someone holding her. Finally last night around 3am I figured out she will pass out in the boppy propped up on our bed. If that's the only way she'll sleep so be it. I'm just happy I was able to get a few hours of broken sleep last night!
Well it's getting close to feeding time so I'm gonna run.
