Two baby showers down, one to go. I need to get started on my Thank You cards. Our families and friends have been so generous in helping us prepare for our little monster. Hell, the only big thing we have left to get is the dresser and we're really hoping to find one at a garage sale or resale shop. It makes me weepy when I think about how loved and blessed our lil family is. Course, a lot of things make me weepy nowadays 
It was kinda cute, at the party today I overheard Subby's three Grandma's having a conversation about how I look like I'm carrying twins or like I'm in my last month
It gave me a serious case of the giggles!
Now I'm trying to decide if I want to just go forward and buy the cloth diapers I want or if I should wait until the last baby shower which is at the end of the month. I really doubt anyone is going to buy them for us as they can only be purchased online AND everyone thinks we're nuts for cloth diapering. But at the same time I fear that someone will buy them just because I did LOL! I worry about the stupidest stuff. I wish I had like a 10% 20% or some percent discount for anything at Babies R Us cuz that's where I'll be buying most of the cloth diapers since that's where my big gift certificate is for!

I love it when you kick and squirm around inside my belly. But kicking the breath out of me and/or making me literally scream out in pain by you kicking, oh I dunno, a vital organ or nerve or just punching a hole through my uterus, is not a very nice way to treat your Mommy. Settle down a little bit or there will be no chocolate breastmilk for you.

Well, we got back from my parents house late last night. An 8-10 hour car ride while 7 months pregnant sucks just as bad as you'd imagine LOL! It was so worth the pain though, we had such a relaxing vacation and it was soooo much fun!
We had our first baby shower and it turned out great. My Mom and bff Alyx really made it super fun, cute, just awesome in general. We got a TON of stuff we needed, I was really surprised it all fit into the car. My family is super crafty so there are lots of homemade blankees and outfits I need to post once we get our photos loaded.
Subby got to meet my Uncle Max who is a trip and a half. He moved back from AZ and is staying with my parents for now. He's too much fun. He's a natural story teller and had us laughing the entire 4 days we were there. Oh Subby also got to go fishing with my Dad and Uncle Max...for 6 hours straight....with no food...in the mid 80 deg super humid weather LOL!
Mom taught me how to knit cables while I was up there, I was super stoked about that. Now I'm knitting a small clutch purse with cables on it. I got over half of it done in the car ride home. I love it that Mom teaches me a new knitting technique every time I go up there.
Today we gotta tape off the nursery so we can paint the stripes in later this week. We gotta get that room together now that we're getting so much stuff for the baby. We got another baby shower this coming weekend and then I think we have one the last weekend of the month. I'm really hoping we'll get some of the bumgenius 4.0 cloth diapers at one of them or at least some more gift cards to buy them with

My super excited moment of the day: Finding out I can put the cloth diapers I wanna use on my Amazon, Target and Babies R Us registries. Hopefully it's not too late and someone will hook us up at one of the upcoming baby showers *crosses fingers*

You just don't know how painful pregnancy can be until you go through a painful pregnancy. Mine has been fun like that. One of the things I never knew could come along with pregnancy were night time leg cramps. I've been dealing with the for about a month, Doc says it's normal. I've been able to keep them from being terrible cramps by walking daily, drinking lots of water, and making sure I'm getting my potassium. Plus I immediately wake up as soon as they start and I'm able to move my foot a certain way and massage my calf before it goes full fledge charlie horse.
Until last night.
I had a rough week and didnt do my walking and didnt drink a ton of water last night and BAM Charlie Horse from hell some time in the wee hours of the morning. I couldnt make my damn muscle release so I'm shouting and crying....those things seriously fucking hurt and I'm going on several minutes & it just keeps getting tighter. Well Peedoo comes flying up on the bed meowing cuz she knows I'm hurt (she seriously checks me out anytime I'm hurt) she then proceeds to bite my leg several times exactly where the charlie horse is.....and it releases
She then goes on to licking my leg in that same spot for a few minutes and then goes to her normal cuddle with Mommy spot.

I decided I want a Kindle some day. I'm an avid reader that lives in a tiny house, I already have two huge bookcases full of books and there is quite literally no room for more. It just makes sense.
We got rid of our cable this month YAAAAAAAAAY!!! This makes me extremely happy. It's not worth the cost.
I'm very hungry for junk food but have none right now.
