When one gets a smart phone, one becomes able to create a photo dump blog.
Let us begin.
It came from my hometown:

Other celebrities either from or who currently reside in New Canaan, CT include, but are not limited to:
Glenn Beck (I worked with his daughter and had dinner at his house. It was odd.)
Harry Connick, Jr.
Paul Dano (my sister knew him, but no one in his class ever drank his milkshake.)
Katherine Heigel (her reputation in high school was about the same as it is now)
Christopher Lloyd
Martin Mull
Chris "Mad Dog" Russo
Paul Simon
Brian Williams
My sister got me this fine art print for Christmas:

We had an unintentional art exchange. She gave me this, and I gave her the framed poster for "The Princess Bride."
An action figure I'd be proud to own:

Sunset back in December:

I've gotten into vinyl records recently. I haven't listened to anything on vinyl since I was a wee lad, and grew up mostly with tape and CD. I honestly was not aware of how much better vinyl sounded until I finally gave it a listen. Now I'm buying old records anywhere I can.
I found these in my dad's collection:

I'm not a big fan of either, but I will enjoy giving these a listen.
Work in progress:

That'll be coming soon from SubHero Productions.
If only this were true:

What some people may not know is the main character in "Trench Coat Samurai," my ongoing webcomic (plug plug) is visually based on me. Well, me if I slimmed down and got into better shape. Anyway, this was mainly because he's featured the most and it's easier to use my own face for reference when I need it. So now my phone has a bunch of odd self portraits on it:

Then there's stuff of me trying to look like Orson Wells:

And then there's the girl the Samurai meets at the beginning of "Trench Coat Samurai."

She's based on a friend and coworker. That might make things a little awkward later on.
Lastly, sometime right before I "retired" from fan art, I did this pretty decent sketch of Eveski:

I was pretty happy with this sketch, so I went ahead and did a color illustration:

And then I retired.
Looking at it now, I'm still not happy with it. I was simplifying in the wrong ways. I was getting lazy with the color, and the face just looks off. It's not a bad drawing, it's just missing something. My heart wasn't in it, so it felt best to just walk away.
Eveski and I discussed a small project to work on. Given both of our hectic schedules, it's uncertain if this thing will ever happen. Hopefully. It'd be fun.
Well, that's all I got. Hope you enjoyed it.
Don't forget to check out my webcomic, TRENCH COAT SAMURAI.
Bye for now.
