I can't stop listening to Emilie Autumn... I got some of those cheap goth compilation cds from Isotank when I got the new Voltaire cd (half very silly, half very funny), and her song "Shalott" is on one. It cracked me up at first because the harpsichord on that song is comically fast, but stuck in my head until I had to get the whole album. Highly recommended for fans of goth Victoriana, like Rasputina.

Today just rocks. Summer solstice, my period is ending, and I had a great voice lesson. The world feels full of infinite possiblities, and for this moment I feel in control of my destiny. Sure, I'll get pissed off in about five minutes and remember I hate my life, but this moment is golden.

Last night I dreamed of my own death. As a child, I had recurring nightmares that I was driving a car (sometimes alone, sometimes with one or more of my family and friends) and drove off a cliff and accidentally killed myself. The dreams were often in a single color, like blue or pink. Last night I dreamed in color. My father was driving and I was next to him in the passenger seat, with our marketing director (and good friend) in the back. We were leaving from my parents' house, but there had been construction around there. The path through the construction was very narrow and had formed huge chasms on either side of the track. He almost missed one turn, but got back on track, then completely missed another hairpin. The van was falling into this huge rift in the rich red/brown dirt. I felt a sensation of falling. I thought, 'Oh God, so soon?', and began to ground and center to prepare for whatever happened next (after death). My last thought was, 'I love you, Scott."

I think for me, these sorts of dreams are about control and guilt... Today I'm leaving on a long business trip with my father. He'll be driving us in his van. Since I've never had a prophetic dream before, I'll try not to worry

Young Patrick Stewart (as shown at the beginning of the new X-Man movie) is the sexist man I have ever seen in flim or print. I don't know what it is that makes bald people so sexy... All SG needs to be perfect is more sexy bald women!!!
