I have come to the conclusion that I am not happy with the dating scene and Love in general. I may get some upset comments about this, but it is the way I feel. In my rescent experience I have heard many disturbing things in regards to dating from both sides. When I say both sides I mean men and women. It has come to my attention that respect and romance have become non essential to a relationship. When did this become a "norm"?
I find it hard to believe that men and women don't want to be romanced anymore. Maybe I am old school, but I think romance is key to a relationship. Dating and Love should never be about going through the motions. It is the opinion of this writer that a relationship should keep you on your toes. It should always leave you wanting more, and searching for new ways to surprise your mate. It's about the small gestures.
It's bringing your girlfriend/lover flowers just because it is a Tuesday, and not just a special occasion. It's about holding hands, even just if you are sitting on the couch watching TV. Romance is an art form that should always be used to show affection for the one you Love. A little love note left on the table when you leave for work can brighten up their day and leave them smiling and hoping the day moves quickly until you get back home.
Ladies this applies to you too! Though we may not like to admit, a little romance goes a long way in a mans heart. If you are going to be away for the night for business or even if you are visiting family, take your perfume and give a little spray about the home. One spray in each room can ensure that you are on his mind throughout the time you are gone. Take a little extra time in painting your nails, doing your hair and picking out your outfit. We may not say it all the time but those little things we do appreciate.
Now to respect! This is a big one for me. Respect isn't just treating them well when they are there, but when they aren't as well. Ladies, I know you like to gossip with your girlfriends and talk about your men, but it isn't fair or right to talk about your man when he is not around. You may have found the little note he left for you very caring and compassionate, but we write them for you, not your girlfriends. We don't like it when your girlfriends know all of the details of the relationships we have with you.
Guys, lets get it together. Don't tell your buddies about how big her breasts are and what they look like! If she wanted your friends to know about her boobs, she would show them herself. Also, don't take her for granted. Chances are she does things for you because she wants you to feel special. Tell her when she goes that little extra mile that you appreciate it. If you are honest with her, she will be more likely to do those things more often then just on your birthday. And don't ever expect anything! Remember these questions......How many more pleasure toys do they make for women then they do for men? Can your member vibrate in 12 different speeds and settings? We can be easily replaced by a simple plastic toy if they decide to turn off the vagina!
I hope this little bit of advise can help change how we are as a society. I know it's a long shot but all it takes is one person to change the world.
