My car is close to death. I took it in the other day and there's lot's of annoyingly expensive stuff wrong with it.
I miss my car. Catching lifts into work is not that much fun. I should get it back next week sometime, hopefully with it's tail wagging.
I was supposed to go over to S's last night for a movie night, but without the car it makes it hard to get over there, so I explained I wasn't going. Then I got a text from E saying she missed me and did I want to go over for food? (Of course I do...) So after a nice meal of stuffed mushrooms, risotto and garlic bread washed down with a bottle of red, we ended up in the usual situation of tv & back rubs.
I left at about 10 (she starts work at 6.30,) and decided to grab a pint on the way home. I was sat in the beer garden smoking and got talking to a random guy who was celebrating his 41st. I ended up drinking with him and his mates until closing time. Nice bunch and a nicely random end to the evening.
Then I got home and there were group hugs waiting for me from the girls. T was very pissed and went to bed not long after I got back, but V wanted to stay up and tell me all about her date that evening, so we sparked up a couple of spliffs and talked for a while.
So I didn't end up getting packed for my trip this afternoon, (going back oop north for the weekend for my Grandmother's 90th.) so now I have to do that when I get home.
