man, who here can tell me they honestly enjoy the holiday season? I can't. Not because I am a cheap bastard who doesn't like to go shopping and spending money on gifts while trying to save up what little I have for my future, well, that is most of it. Seriously though, the Holiday season is supposed to bring everyone together, but then why the does the new insist on just making us feel worse around this time? Reminding us of children who don't get to have a Christmas, of the fact that even though we have been trying to boost our economy we are still in the shit hole economically, I mean, is it so hard to ask for something joyful? Show a 30 min news broadcast of kittens meowing in a festive manner with cute hats on and I would be happier than I've ever been. But instead we just hear news like "More solders will be sent to the Middle East" or "Cancer still isn't cured".
Fuck people, it is the Holiday season and you can't just bring a little joy? This is why I hate the holidays, everyone claims it is the most wonderful time of the year and then in the next breath start shoving sad and depressing news and charities down our throats hoping we are going to give because it is the holidays. No. If I really cared I wouldn't donate just because it is December, I would do it because I cared about a cause, or I cared about what is going on. Don't act like you can just hid your agenda just because it is the Holiday Season. Shit I hate December.
